Quick note from the dog loved up one - he has arrived and is absolutely gorgeous - piccie to follow!
One thing having a dog again means I am walking 2 times 2 miles extra a day already..... cheap weight loss!
Sexy vamp Raph!!
Caravan comments made me giggle - we lived in a caravan for 5 months last year whilst we had our house revamped from top to bottom so I think that is a lifetime of caravanning in one summer thank you!
Must go and get a shower - am drenched from the early walk in the drizzle.
We are going to see the new 'W' film on free tickets from the Times this am - sounds interesting!
Has anyone seen the Palin women being taken the mickey off by some Canadian pretending to be Sarkozy (sp?) - it's so awful it's almost unbearable to watch (or listen to)!
Lesley xNO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........0 -

:rotfl: That gave me a laugh, thanks KPC!
I will be reporting a gain tomorrowI went over and above my 1600 cals/day to the tune of:
- Whole packet of jelly babies eaten over 3 days
- 4 large cookies since Thursday, my son bought a pack of 5 but only wanted 1 (unusual for him)... short shelf life so I didn't want them wasted! (and they were yummy)
- Dipped into the Halloween sweeties bag a few times
- Had a few of his chip shop chips last night
- Also haven't used the 1600 cals particularly sensibly this week
AND:
- Half term = no twice daily school walk
- Not able to get out for my long run this week
- TOTM due!!!
So a bit of a write off this week and I'll know exactly where the gain has come from, but back on-piste as from tomorrow!
Hope everyone's having a great weekend!0 -
Back again but still have not been back to doc to get weighed again. Nice to see I made the October challenge but doubt if I have done much since. Needed to work full time on day I was last due to be weighed so had to cancel the appointment and have never got round to rearranging it.
New challenge on now though - neice getting married next summer and would like not to look like barrage balloon in the photos....0 -
Great pic raph - and fab news: a size 14 skirt:j :j .
Been busy trying to work out who my swopbox is from... from the post mark I can rule out a few. Oh oh, just had an idea wjo it might be:j .
Lesley - we walked into town in the lashing rain yesterday and my OH pointed out that if we had a dog, i'd be out walking in weather like this a lot more often. It had the desired effect:rotfl:
So tagz - does that make you a fun sized malteser?
kpc - it's amazing what comes out in the genes: I seem to have picked up my dads habit of hoarding 'useful bits of wood'. Esecially those dumped in skips/flytipping. OH now has the 'world weary' look on his face when ever I spot another one:rotfl: . Mind you, he's got no room to talk: seems to have a fetish about horading things in plastic bags, all over the house. Seems to think it's a perfect system: buy something. put it in a plastic bag. Leave it on the floor somewhere in the house. Never move it again. I am not joking:eek:
EDIT: well, you'll know where it all came from missy. I've just had 2 hot cross buns for brkfast (12 for £1 in asda, couldn't leave them behind:o . I will be sensible for the rest of the day. I will be....I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

BB :rotfl:
I read this sentence before the rest of the paragraph, and then had to read the rest to find out what a 'world weary' loo was :rotfl:

Well, I'm happy to report a 0.2lb loss this week, total loss now at 50lb.
However, whilst everyone else is admitting to going 'off piste' I'd best join in. My weigh in was done a day early as I do it 'el buffo' in the kitchen, I couldn't do it Sat am (usual weigh in) as DS had a sleepover Friday night and didn't want to get caught 'in the act' by one of a number of 14 year olds.
DD also had a sleepover last night, so I have to admit to 2 chocolate fountains, a choc birthday cake, an iced birthday cake, sausages, sausage rolls, pork pies, pizza, chips, marshmallows, you get the picture (twice  )
I was going to be so good today, started off really well, until I thought I would have a couple of chocs from a box of Tesco Value Chocs that I treated myself to - whoops! 8 chocs later I feel suitably sick - think I might take the dog for a walk.
