I seem to have found some focus with my eating - gently, gently does it but already feel much better.
Thanks Lois, hopefully Granny will put me back on the chart next week. I'm hoping to lose 25 lbs over time.

Watch your knees on the Wii fit. I got carried away on the Hula hoop game back when it first came out and my knees are still recovering and I can't climb stairs without pain in them. It's far too easy to do it wrongly and injure yourself. I didn't realise at the time.

The other games are fine, it's the Hula one you need to be careful with.

Tagz - I lived in Msida for a while, and then in San Gwann. We used to spend a lot of time going to the beach at Paradise Bay and Golden Bay, and on a Saturday I used to meet up with my friends at the open air cafe on the corner in Sliema - we called it Bubblegum Square.

Well, I did my swap box shopping today with great difficulty as OH was in a 'reluctant to shop' mood and should have been left at home to watch Grandstand (oh, that's not on anymore...! :rolleyes: ).

We've got an exciting day planned for tomorrow - we're going on a towing course! We decided that as we've never had a caravan and we're planning to take one to Europe we really need to know how to do it properly. Lowdown to follow.

The ebaying is going well - 30 items listed, 4 sold, but plenty more to go on, and it takes ages. I spent so long doing it yesterday I decided I needed a day off from it today - it's harder work than going to work!

careful lois, you'll end up like my dad . . . he spends a large chunk of his holidays reversing other people's caravans around for them because he's very confident. And then you'll be hoarding useful pieces of wood in the front locker. It's a slippery slope.

Gosh Lois you are making me want to go back over again! I love Paradise Bay and Golden Bay but my fav is Ghajn Tuffieha! My parent's place is in Buggiba and my place is in Qawra - love the restaurants around there (cheap but great food!). It's weird but I get told off if I go over without the kids, not just by the relatives but the neighbours and the waitresses!
