me and bikes really dont get on together. As a child i loved mine, but the last bike ride i went on ended in tears (literally) me throwing the bike on the floor a few times and getting so angry with everything!
I'd probably be up for meeting at the end though!
Hope everyones having a good weekend. Matt and i are going to go on a walk after lunch, burn some calories. Then were going to cook a nice dinner and have a relaxing evening in, followed by a bath for me! Horay!
Laptop is working now. Matthew left a top gear cd in it which made it go funny. MEN grrr.0 -
vix its not a hp or a compaq is it? i have had no end of problems with my hp dv6000 series, and a google shows lots of manufacturing faults which hp have extended their warranty to two years for, dv series and another series and a compaq series all affected.
raph thanks for the new thread
suggs thanks for all the old threads

Beanie, I think it is your avatar that makes us think you look like a little scottie dog and would fit into a basket on the front of a bike.
Bails, what have you done to your hand? I can't remember Granny's idea, but I'm up for a meet sooner too.
Vix, p'raps I could thumb a lift home
Raph, I did read that they hire bikes too. Made £42 this morning at BF, £7 for DS, £17.50 for DD and me (we split the proceeds now as she is such a help). Really pleased with that. Trouble is, we get flushed with success and want to do another - if we're not careful the house will end up empty (fat chance).
FG, sounds like you had a good week, well done.

Haha, nothing sinister with the hand, just had a wee kitten sleeping upside down in it and she was WAY too cute to move!
Granny's idea was to meet at one of the London stations and have a 'drop-in' kind of meet. The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Maybe not quite at the station though. I wondered about the Royal Festival Hall foyer which is very close to Waterloo station, fairly spacious and doesn't seem to mind you sitting for long periods of time over a coffee.
The bike ride sounds fun too ... maybe I could opt in for just part of it if 33 miles seems a bit far? My biking maximum currently is a of about 2 miles on real roads.0 -
