Dated as Sunday 31st May 2009 on thier website. Is that the date we're aiming for?
If it is that's perfect as I have no holiday left at work, but it falls on my day off. I have the Sat off too so would prob go up the day before & maybe treat the missus to a weekend awayDebt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Happy to report a 3lb loss
On other weight-loss attempts, I've actually lost more in the first week but I am happy to maintain a consistent 2lb loss per week - in my opinion, such a rate would be much more sustainable over a period of time.
As I've said in LW22, I didn't entirely cut out chocolate this week. That said, I probably ate 50% less chocolate this week than my normal quota and I feel quite confident I can cut down to only a couple of bars per week.
My lunches and main meals have been a lot more healthy. As well as trying my best to cout out stuff like pizza, I have been incorporating more veg into my main meals and, for lunches at work, I have been eating wholemeal rolls; a much healthier alternative to the chips I used to eat every lunch.
I have had a fair few beers this week - I had three left over from the week before and I was out on Friday night and there was quite a few free beers on offer - would've been rude not toI can quite happily not drink beers in the week (with my dinner and relaxing in front of TV). It's when I let my hair down that I can sink a skinful :eek:
I'd like now to do a bit more exercise. I have no excuse really because I live near an area which is great to go for walks and cycling...I guess I'll just need to find the motivation somewhere.

oh, i almost forgot to add how i feel...
it's strange, but i feel so much more upbeat having changed my eating habits. I had a slip-up during the week, and I actually felt quite bad for it.
I don't know whether it's doing something positive that's made me feel better, or maybe it's losing the bloated and sluggish feeling even over a few days - maybe a combination of both. Anyway, I do feel better and I am looking forward to losing more weight.
I think the high intake of sugar in the past was making me feel 'dazed' in a way. If I ate a large chocolate bar and then gulped down a milkshake I actually felt slightly stoned after it...I know it sounds weird, but such a huge intake of sugar must make my body and brain feel BLEEEUURRGGHH.0 -
Not stealing my thunder at all FFM! Sounds like a nice idea, and caters for most people, how far is the bike ride?
Would still be nice to do Granny's idea and meet up sooner too?
Great stuff FG! And the reaction to sugar overload doesn't sound weird at all. Good luck this week!
