Having hit 50 this year and put on several stones during the last 20 years in a sedentary office job have now lost 18Lbs down one dress size (though I am sure they have changed them during the last XX years) since starting mid August about 2Lb per week. Gave up alcohol, biscuits, desserts and cakes.
Have Shape yogurts, Alpen Lite bars instead

london welcome:D we are here to help if we can so keep posting:D
Anyone got an ipod touch 8gb? Started a thread with the question in it but seem to have very few sensible replies:rolleyes: got some more music on it last night, no probs there but the videos I had on the ipod have disappearedstill there on itunes but gone off the ipod even though the new music came on perfectly fine, fully charged loads of space left so that is not it, just can't understand why?
Off to get weighed today, did not do it on wednesday because from here it costs £5.20:eek: on the bus to get to town so do not go very often and when I do I sure make the most of it with lists of stuff to get:D can't justify that cost without making it the whole day there;) even taking my own turkey brown bread sandwich and sugar free drink so I do not have to be tempted or spend on lunch:rolleyes: oh there is an art to being skint:rotfl: :rotfl:
I am hoping to return to normal weight wise.
The doc rang up still low white cells onthe blood tests so still no tablets, yet more blood tests and they are still reviewing, can't fault them for being thorough:rolleyes:
Wrapped up some xmas presents for the kids last night, just over 8 weeks to go, was dreading it this year because of the money but went to a car boot sale last week and there it was, new never played with just what my DS wanted... a fortress for his soldiers, how much? £1, now you are talking:D the box is huge so he is going to have great pleasure just looking at it under the tree and guessing:rotfl:0 -
i bet you get a warm feeling inside every time you look at it as well victory. I don't understand people who spend tons of money at christmas for no good reason. I used to work with a girl who wouldn't rest till she'd spent £60 on each family member, and £200 on her boyfriend. There've been years when i've only spent 50p on a prensent for someone - bt I've known that it's something they'll really value. Why feel the need to 'make it up'?
feeling poo today. The bowl of sick drove me to eat a cake that has crippled my digestive system. Serves me right. Although i did manage to make 60 mini muffins without eating any because I felt so bad.
Off to the kit fair now. Have a lovely day peeps, and welcome london05!0
