Morning all, I've gained four pounds, ouch! (Please don't post granny, I'll do a proper weigh in on Wed). Was down one on Wed, so gained five since then. I've been away, so relaxed about food, but haven't eaten THAT much. Bodies are weird!! My weight doesn't usually fluctuate like this, so even more weird.

I know it's not really the thing to do, but I'm going to ignore this for chart purposes, cos it's so bizarre, and do a proper weigh in on Wednesday.

Vix, sounds like you need to ask why, even if you don't challenge the decision, maybe there's something small you're doing that someone's nit-picking about. It would be a shame if there's something easily changed, that's losing you money.

Thanks for the chart granny, and well done everyone.

    jay xx
    Anytime;)
  • jay only do 1 weigh in a week. You'll go crazy hopping on and off the scales every couple of days.

    thats a bummer vix.

I had a good night last night. I actually met up wit hte lady who interviewed me for the job i wanted but didn't get - had a geat chat and she made me feel really positive. I just need to stay away from those cream cakes again today . . . .

  • whoa quiet this weekend. welcome shell, nice to meet you.

did quite well yesterday at the legion party. MAnaged to make any children cry - which wasn't actually that difficult as out of the 80 that were invited, only 30 turned up. Gosh, the community spirit is alive and thriving in our village. Did succumb to a couple of meat paste sarnies and jaffa cakes, but on the whole, stayed good. Just got to do it again today, even with the box of cadburys fingers that I brought home . . . .

Confession time, warning long post, skip if you want:D

Been struggling like mad for the last month or so, reasons...when the docs took me off the tablets (that I did not want to go on for life in the first place!) my world went black, miss them, pain comes back, blackness descends....
Came here 3 months ago and have completely gutted the house and re done it to our liking, hard job, not as easy as it seems on property ladder but we have achieved masses and now it is finally complete, well all bar one room and painting outside but that kept me very active, very focused and never bored, now that has stopped time to look for a job which is not as easy as I expected, CV very empty, been lucky enough to get jobs all the other times by word of mouth, asking around, friends recommending me, not really had the interview, produce CV, etc line of getting a job so now panicking as CV is more I have been a house person than ever done any jobs:rolleyes: keep lying to myself, can't do it this week because half term is coming up, will do it after, can't do it last week because the radiators and the skirting boards need painting, the garden needs doing, rubbish, lost self confidence, petrified and wallowing in my own can't drive, can't get a job, can't be employed misery. I should work from home because I am not fit to be out there in the real world.

Anyway....:D food now.... that has been a huge problem, I had a 5 day massive eating and put on 5lb, lost 4lb through sheer determination (OH is going crazy because every time a commercial comes on the tele I get up to do something, anything so long as I keep moving:rotfl: :rotfl: ) so there I was 1lb off losing it all and being STS when disaster hit bad, the last 10 days of Sep we had no money for food, petrol, getting weighed nothing so it was store cupboard stuff and we had some crazy combinations of foods:rolleyes: pay day in OCtober, trip to Asda bought mountains of foods and that is where it started, started eating a slice of bread in the car on the way home and then went from that to eating breakfast, brunch:confused: lunch, snacks, dinner, supper, snacks, the amount was incredible, nothing stopped me, not the thought of my clothes, trying on my old black size 18 trousers that are miles too big now, nothing, when I was eating I was thinking of my next food, how much I could get away with on my insulin, what dinner I was going to have with dessert of course, it was a continous eating fest, gained 7lb in 5 days, the only thing that stopped me finally was my sugars went from a healthy and stable 4-7 which the docs love to 33.3!!!!!!!!!!!!! could hardly breath but did it to myself, reckon I am like the man from THis morning show that lost 30 stone charlie someone he came on the tele and said that it is still a daily on going battle and that he simply has a food addiction, that's me thought I, food addict, not necessarily for sugar and sweets but portions, lots of etc.

My high numbers stopped me, went back to it and have lost 4lb of it (last got weighed on wednesday) hoping that the last 3lb to get me back to the start will come off by next wednesday.

Hoping not to get back on the rollercoaster ride of lost it, eat, gain, loose, gain etc need stability but when I rebel or eat what others do I can't behave myself and just have one or two have to have the lot, I look at my kids or OH and they have mastered the art of being satisfied at a few but not me, feel I have learnt nothing,(oh yes, I know how not to buy it in, to keep the cupboards empty of temptation, sure fire way of keeping me in check:D ) ashamed to say that I was an outright pig, troughing as if someone was going to take it off me, not even in secret this time, in plain view but the kids loved it because there was not a no in any of the conversations...'can I have?' yes of course, can I have, yes they loved it.

Have bought nothing at all, not even a nut towards xmas (usually by now we have enough in the biscuits, sweets, nuts, figs, xmas stock to feed 25 people always on the BOGOF or it was such a bargain how could it be refused?:rotfl: ) can't trust myself after all we have already eaten the one thing I did buy for the impending xmas, the tin of quality street so proves it can't come in:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Bored without a job, lonely in the day, pain with no tablets, food comes out to play:rolleyes:

Here's hoping one day I will learn something and cut myself some slack:rolleyes:
