  • stacie, raph did that deliberately cos there is always something you like about yourself - oh, and it doesn't have to be in the nip you know - my bum looks awful in underwear, but i'm wearing a slinky pencil skirt and heels today and feeling pretty good about it!

Whoopee - 3.5 lbs lost this week - about time too!!
    :j:T:j:T:j:j

I have been doing mix to match all week and it seems to have done the trick. I have been making loads of soup and having large bowls of it for lunch - current favorite is carrot and lentil:T although the spicy pumpkin was quite nice too!

Great news about the move, Vix. How's the d********ion? :p

Also good about the hairy hands ... think of the money you could save not buying warm gloves. Very MSE. :money:

beanilou thanks:D had a long chat with OH, he understands and has offered to go to the jobcentre with me so happy days here again, may sound like a woman of my age should be able to go by herself but he wants me to go on maybe a course on how to get back into work or a self confidence one or a what qualifications I need to better myself one, he has come up with some great ideas and as soon as he gets the afternoon off work we are going to spend it looking for work and courses or whatever gets me out of the house and stops me sinking lower;)

Victory, I don't know if it helps, but I found learndirect online very good to narrow down what i wanted to do, I did a quiz thing, likes/dislikes, IIRC which gave me some ideas. I researched the ideas it threw up and have just finished a fully funded degree course in profession I'm now passionate about, but had barely heard of until I went on learndirect that day. I just have to get a job now, but it feels good having skills behind me, and college and uni were soo confidence building, I discovered I wasn't totally thick, lol!

That was 4 years ago, but they might do something similar now, I remember it was the most user-friendly quiz I used at that time.

    Good luck anyway, jay xx
    Anytime;)
