Oh thats a shame Suggs. Can you retake at all? What exam was it? 1000 questions seems a lot of questions!! Or ws it that some questions wereworth more than 1 point? Gosh, am confusing myself now!!

Its a Cisco exam, on setting up computer networks. It is scored out of 1000 only 40 questions in 90mins, but some questions have multiple answers, some have multiple questions, some involve you typing in commands etc. In effect I lost out by one or two incorrect answers. The summary sheet shows I scored 0% in one area, this been where one of the questions I had problems typing in the commands for.

At best I will get a free re sit :o Not happy, but on the positive side I took the course 2 months ago and from a standing start I nearly passed :)

    Thanks

  • Suggs - what a rotten day: I'm sorry to hear about the marathon miss out too. You've progressed so well with your running and it's frustrating you can't stretch yourself this challenge. Hope the weekend with your kids goes well. And good luck with the forthcoming op too: I've never heard of that proceedure before. On the plus side - you've had a loss:j . That breaks that litle run of (little) gains:T .
Peeps, today I declared day one. I've just been troughing too much. Don't feel bad or guilty, it was all jolly delish, but enough's enough and the weight is creeping up. Gone back to keeping a food diary to help myself get back on track.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

I reckon we can safely put November 6th in the diaries for swap box opening now . . . . so, lets start the ball rolling!

List 3 things that you like - you can be as specific or as vague as you like, also, list any allergies/issues you think your swappee needs to know.

    So . . . . .

:j:T This is so exciting! I like gadgets of any kind, kitchen stuff and anything moneysaving really!
I don't like smellies, bath products etc as they bring me out in a rash.

I bought the present for my recipient today and I think I got just the right thing:j:beer::j, can't wait to find out if they like it. When we send our parcels off are we meant to sign them so they know who they are from? I know I would have to put a return address on the parcel for starters.

    Love

    Hi all

Did you miss me, I've been to Scotland for a day, increasing my carbon footprint!

Suggs - commiserations for not passing the exam and not getting a place in the marathon, congratulations for losing weight, good luck with the operation and bon voyage for the holiday. :) And as for
I could make you come faster than a speeding bullet
    I'm shocked! ;)

Grannynise - specially for you (and anyone else who needs it):

For the person who [strike]drew the short straw and [/strike]got my name in the swap boxes, I think I'm easy to buy for, but people tell me otherwise! I like butterflies and dragonflies, purple, blue and pink, [strike]red wine, chocolate cake, chocolate biscuits, dark chocolate, liquorice allsorts[/strike], my favourite scents are lavendar, vanilla, musk, and sandalwood.

I don't have any allergies that I'm aware of, but I am about to start on a major decluttering so I don't really want anything I can't use up.

Marion - I'm impressed that you've already bought yours, I've got as far as finding a box!

Catch you all tomorrow, have a great weekend.

I feel truly lousy this morning, the docs have left me with no artritis tablets and what do I get this morning? A ankle, elbow flare up and agony:rolleyes: told them do not leave me with nothing while reviewing the blood test results and there you go, so now have to fight with the day to get through it, the sad thing is I like the tablets they never made me flare up once but they know best:rolleyes:

  • Victory, sounds awful, can you go to your doctors this morning and ask for a prescription to get you by until the blood tests? Or is it a specialist that you see? :grouphug: Have a gentle virtual hug.
