I love purple too! It makes me feel rather decadent and vibrant (and it reminds me of choccy).

Swap box wise : I like purple, art, gadgets, and necklaces. My Oh says a purple electric paintbrush on a string covers it all really.
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!

i want a purple electric paintbrush on a string too.

Just reading a brilliant book - it's called the land that thyme forgot by william black. It's a culinary tour of britain, eploring all the traditional foods that we've kind of forgotten about. If you have foodie people to buy for at Christmas they would really love this book. It has few recipes in, but it's not really about recipes - it more about celebrating Britishness - the chapter I'm reading is about a gooseberry fair in north yorkshire where they compete to grow the biggest gooseberry every year. Black is very amused by the fact that you can't actually buy any gooseberries there - it's all about the growing. How eccentrically British!

whoa suggs - will you be able to punch through walls and lift cars afterwards?

You know yesterday two different people mentioned my possible 'bionic' abilities :-) guess I could make you come faster than a speeding bullet :rotfl: Shall I become the six quid bionic boy??

Busy weekend as always, the children are down and its the nearest weekend to sons birthday, so out to lunch on Sunday. No rugby currently, game is off! No bad thing, Im sure my son would like some time to wander the shops etc.

Anyways Im off to my exam in a little while, so a quick one to let you know that I have actually lost weight again. Loss 2.4lb

    See you soon

Good luck with the exam Suggs and CONGRATS on the weight loss! Now you won't have to take yourself off maintainers as you threatened to last time ;)

Nice work on the chart Lois, well done everyone who made the Sept challenge! Amused that Rumblytum has already made the October challenge on 1st October :p Well done RT, and everyone who's done well lately.

I'm sticking rigidly to the 0.5lb loss plan this week and loving the extra 250 calories a day! Have done 3 outdoor jogs this week - 10mins, 15mins and 20mins, the first two were made up to a 30min session each with brisk walking either side. Today I cycled for 10mins before jogging. Have added 30mins wii fit each day, 60mins yesterday cos I didn't do anything else :p

    Have a good weekend everyone.

Anyways Im off to my exam in a little while,

Failed, scored 776 out of 1000 need to score 804 :( One of the question did work properly, it opens multiple windows and in one I could not see what I was typing, it was like the bottom half of the screen was missing. Have reported it.

Add to that I didnt make the public ballot for the London Marathron, not the best of days!
