It is so cold here & i really feel the cold sooo much but just cant afford to have the heating on all the time so Im a cold wee beanie.
Do you have a thermal base layer set Beanie? I'm hoping to avoid putting the heating on as much as possible too, haven't had to resort to the thermals yet luckily, but they are really great at keeping body heat in.
Lots of peeps on here with difficulties, disappointments at the momentHopefully lots of silver linings just around the corner.

Lost 0.4 lb this week, not bad on 14891 calories - included a chinese takeaway, a work lunchtime buffet and far too many truffles (they've all gone now so the temptation is no longer there).

We had a lovely piece of rump steak last night from Tesco's (really tender), they are doing 'buy 3 packs of meat for £10' (or 1 pack for £4). Stretched to feed a family of 4. So, we have lamb steaks tonight and pork loin steaks tomorrow (probably make into sweet and sour with a jar from Lidl) - very mse and lw all in one hit.

Hi folks
I am as late as usual in getting around to catching up, I am afraid. Did not realise just how long it had been then came on to find my last post was page 74 of the last thread!
Anyway, had my first trip back to the nurse for a fortnightly weigh-in and am down 6lb in my first 2 weeks! Fairly chuffed as not following any specific diet, just doing the apple-rather-than-a-mars-bar variety. Now 4 days into next fortnight so will hope I can keep it up for next weigh in too.
Will go and read bits of the thread now but no way to read all 50-60 pages I have missed!
Love to all

Primark do some good thermals. I bought a thermal vest last year from there and its really warm! Didnt wanna spend a fortune on something i wanted to hide, its not exactly up there with fashion
Im still very excited about things. Although work has only given me my contracted saturday for the next 4 weeks. So thats 6 weeks doing just saturdays! Well not enough, so im still looking for work, would be sooo much easier if this dissertation would go away and i could apply for full time work!
anyway, im moaning now. Weather is pants down here, but as i saw watching the great north run, its all spiffy up north!
hope everyone is having a nice weekend!0
