Just been to the gym. Did:-

    2.5km run 15 mins
    5km cycle 10 mins 30 secs
    2km row 10 mins 30 secs
    2km run 13 mins 30 secs

    Total 50 mins of cardio

    It was good.

Ha ha! Just did a double take - thought it was one of Missy's posts :rotfl:

Well done, another gym monkey in the making.

BTW don't fret about being a binger, I know I am one and probably knowing that does help. Having said that if 'nice chocs' are in the house they very soon end up in my tum.

Do you find the book hysterically rude in places? When I first read it I kept thinking 'can you say that?', 'that's not very PC' etc - but still laughed.

Marion Excellent News I bet you wanted to shout it from the highest rooftop :j:j

Now hold onto that feeling and in times of need, bring it out and cuddle it again. :)

    Once again well done you!!

    Wot Suggs said!!!

    Fantastic Marion, well done.

  • marion - that is fantastic. Well done you. What a significant milestone:T . Sounds good re your new group leader and her idea too.
FG -this is the important bit: you recognis you've gone off track, but you've come back and will refocus. Ok, so you put 1lb back on: that's a small blip if you get back too the plan now. This is the true secret of weight loss - accepting when you fall into poor habbits and getiting going again. This is real life andwe've all been there.
Really drained tonight so apologies for missing loads of you out. Had a v bad head all day and although the pain has now gone, the drugs leave me feeling ick. Which all also makes me eat a lot more to keep going.
Suggs - that one managed to slip by me . But now you mention it sounds a very enjoyable idea:D .Have a really good holiday:j
Hope you get somewhere very soon victory.

Marion your post made me all teary. I think you should go and jump :j on the scales every time you're anywhere near the surgery just to remind yourself how good it felt to be on the ordinary scales.

I hope things improve soon Victory. Without wishing to insult anyone who is a doctor's receptionist, they do seem to be a particular strange breed. (people say that about headteachers too, evidently)

FG Listen to Brighton Belle. She's ever so sensible. BB, could you come and live in my house? I need you to keep getting me back on track too.

FFM I'm still waiting for the fat people ... breakfast book. I ordered it from a bookshop but it hasn't yet arrived - problems with the suppliers or something. Now I know there are rude bits in it I want it even more.:p

been sooooo good today. out in supermarkets all day, face with all the yummy stuff they have in for christmas. Stayed good, had couscous for lunch, risotto for tea, yay. Did see soemthing interesting tesco though - world snacks in the christmas range. A little tray with roasted chickpeas, soyabeans, green split peas and something else. Am i deluding myself that these would be free on green?

Well done Retired Lady - you must be so chuffed.

Receptionists are not there to help patients - they are there to be a barrier to the doctor - well that's my view anyway :p - I hope you get something sorted soon Victory.

FG don't get dispondent - keep at it and we'll all help you where we can.

Hugs to those who STS or gained - and cheers to all the losers.
