I couldn't believe I did it! Def not going to use it as a diet tool though!:rotfl: I think looking at the pack of mince pies just as I bit into it reminded me of all the pastry and sugar I was about to swallow. Usually can't stand them but these were one soaked with brandy - mmmmmmm! Think I'll just have the brandy and give the mince pies a miss!

Well done on the roast dindins Vix. Have a confession - the thought of miniVix did pop into my head when you said you were off your food. Any other signs?

ha, no. I dunno, i think its the flu related thing. I forced myself to eat lunch today, and i had a bit of pasta last night. Im getting there but i still dont feel hungry, its coming up to two weeks of never being hungry, has the lord answered my prayers? but i know im without child, unless God is going to send me an angel at my window telling me im the next mary.

Oh but guess what!!!! I weighed myself the other morning and i was under 10 stone!!!!!! but when give a few hours and im over it again ha. But what the hell, it was flipping nice to see.

there was a job in the paper for a graduate teacher programme thing in leisure and tourism.

I researched it and apparently i need a C in maths. Balls to it! Do you reckon they would notice the D next to the maths column? ha

It's always worth a try Vix - your other qualities may outshine your D in maths. In my experience qualification expectations are only a guide, and not set in stone.

    Go for it! :D

p.s. just read your previous post - Harrods is on Brompton Road, in Knightsbridge. Turn left out of Knightsbridge tube station and look out for the green canopies.

That'll be a geography teacher then, Vix? Sorry - the D in maths is a complete barrier .... no exceptions made, you'd have to retake it. And then there's a skills test in maths too even if you've got the GCSE grade.

Let me know when you're in London and I'll come to be stalked.

well thats that idea gone then!

I've only ever got a C grade in maths once EVER. It just wont happen for me (i doubt)

Its annoying, i know to be a teacher you gotta know your stuff, but why is maths such a requirement. I manage in my life fine with being a thicko in maths, and everything else ha.

Wont my B in english make up for the deficit. I got a double C in science, and humanities i got a B so everywhere else im fine. Grrr. Well i think B and C is fine.

More fitting old ladies into triumph doreens it is *sigh*

anyway, i gotta go back home. Thanks for the responses people
