Thanks to everyone who offered me comfort and support last night - it helped me sleep better and not stay awake having nightmares about putting everything I have lost back on in one day:eek::rotfl:

You should still allow yourself some syns today Marion, even if it's only 5 - count yesterday's blip as flexible syns and put it down to experience. You're so good the rest of the time you really shouldn't beat yourself up, because you're taking away whatever pleasure you had from eating the chocolate.

Hi all
Sorry I haven't posted much this week - no excuse really, just nothing to say!
Best wishes to Bails, I'm shocked to hear that a cat scratch can result in surgery.
Victory - having confidence in your teeth makes such a difference, go and dazzle them girl!
We've reached a lull in preparations now, we're looking at storage options for the furniture, which we'll probably do next week and then move into the caravanand just use the bathroom in the house. That way we'll really get to grips with what we need to take, where it's going to go, and what we can/have to do without. We've been cleaning as we go, but it will also mean we can give the house a 'good bottoming' as they say oop north!
I've just been organising a reverse 'holiday', as we need to come back to the UK at the end of February for a hospital appointment and 40th wedding anniversary. We'll lock the caravan up and leave it on site in Spain and fly back for a few days. I managed to get return flights with Ryanair for £40 all in, and a nights stay in a Travelodge for £9.
Have a good day.

Sorry to hear Bails is poorly - hopefully she'll have a speedy recovery.
Victory I'm glad you like your new teeth - still have all mine thankfully I inherited mine from my Dad's side of the family rather than my Mum's
BB I hope the meds settle down for you soon - it's rotten to feel so ill when you take things to make you better.
Marion - don't worry about the chocolate bar - it's a small blip or bump in the long road. At least you didn't do what I did and go to Woolies to "buy" some bargins - most of which ended up being chocolate. At least I've not eaten them all
and hopefully I won't as normally if I end up buying chocolate I'll just eat it all within a couple of days
LL good luck with the holiday planning.
Am trying to plan my best friends hen party and one friend is being a right royal pain in the bum  well it might just have to go ahead without her.0 -
Hope everything goes according to plan Lois! How come you're putting your furniture into storage? Have I wrongly assumed that you were planning to let your place furnished? You'll be missed on here so I do hope you'll be able to post from time to time and make us all envious with some updates
I don't fancy a cooked meal today so I've been snacking every couple of hours - having a rare 'grazing' dayStill sticking to my cals and eating (mostly) real food though.
Marion I'm with the others, if you cut back just a little over the next few days you will offset the choccieNo need to try to make up for it all at once
Even if you don't offset it, you don't go off plan very much so try not to worry! And you would have to eat ACRES of choc to undo all your good work :rotfl:

lois good luck with settling into the caravan. when do you actually go again?0

bails is out of hospital peeps. No op done: she just has to rest up so swelling on leg heals up.
Victory - forgot to acknowledge the final sucess of bootcamp:T . And glad to hear teeth are everything you hoped for.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Thanks BB. Great news about Bails.I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0

Victory, how's the smiling going - I had a new tooth a couple of years ago - glad that I paid the extra for an enamel one rather than the cheaper gold one. It's in the bottom towards the back and although no one else really gets a look I know it's there.
Mishka, good luck selling the books on Ebay. I don't put as much effort in as I used to, but the odd book sells every so often. An extra £375 over the last month will be most welcome towards Christmas - it's people buying those rather obscure books that sell for about £20 and have been festering in the shed for a couple of yearsI'm guessing they are going to be Christmas presents - I don't usually sell so much - not these days.
Missy, I forgot the pedometer this morning - I shall have to get it out ready for next week - I'm curious now to see how far I do walk in the course of a day. Wish I had finished my Christmas shopping - I'm thinking about blitzing it tomorrow - I really really wish Father Christmas was real and brought the pressies on Christmas eve.
I went into Tesco Express on the way home to get a loaf of bread - big mistake - I now have a fake Indian Takeway cooking in the oven - smells real good.

Good news about Bails
Wow, well done on the selling FFM! That's great! Enjoy your meal and good luck for weigh in tomorrowI've just planned out tomorrow's eating so that I don't have another 'can't be bothered' day tomorrow!!!
Just about to map out next week's long run now - it has to be a good one because I probably won't get one for a couple of weeks during school hols
Have a fab weekend everyone!0
