Just been working out the xmas calorie damage ahead of me..4 do's to go to, one is on thursday mince pies and mullled wine, perfect for me as I hate mince pies and don't drink= no damage:D
Second is a nibbles buffet, fine, step away from the buffet area, mingle, smile and chat instead:D
3rd is a kids party, will put my son forward and just chat:D
4th is prawn cocktail starter (scrape off the mayonnaise) turkey xmas dinner and profiteroles (I have one or 2 and give OH the rest) followed by coffee (don't drink coffee) and mince pies (hate them!)

So not bad at all, xmas eve, day and boxing day I have no intention of counting calories or caring:rotfl: :rotfl: then stop 27/28/29/30/ NYE /NYD eat and not care and then see what the damage is... hoping not much but planning seems to be the trick, no need to waste cals on what I don't like/eat, so going to save them for the good stuff:D

Yes bra refit was great success, have been using Rigby and Peller for some years - the fitter took a look and came back with the correct size first time , no tape measures needed here. My posture is definately better less slouching!

As i have found an online supplier of Prima Donna bras, i get R & P to size me buy 1 bra and order another couple from Affair Lingerie where they are £5 cheaper. PD bras are fairly expensive but if you hand wash them they last around two years as long as you don't grow out of them.

Actually once you have been fitted by R & P you can go to any store and you can try on various makes and you will know if they are the right size regardless of the dreaded tape measure - its like a masterclass of how a well fitted bra should fit - especially essential in those of us with larger assets.

The only bra fitter in a store who got my correct size was in Bentalls Kingston, but conversely the bras they were selling weren't really suitable for a 38F bust -

While I was Oxford Street I accidently bought some new clothes in Debenhams - still there was a surprise 20% off all item. Have however now spent my xmas bonus from work on myself which quite frankly makes a change.

Also as the savings rates are rubbish and I got my Icesave savings back I am investing some of it in me.

My mum has some prima donna bras, they do fit her lovelly actually. If you have the money, and you have bigger boobs then a bra that costs alot more than average definatly does the job.

When i measure i only measure the band. Alot of the reasons why department stores use it is that they have to sadly. We are required to measure the band, but we dont measure the cup. The tape meausre then becomes security, you feel without it you will fail when in reality you dont! its funny.

I would love to go to rigby, just to compare the difference of a bra costing 70 odd quid to all of mine which i try and buy in the sale for a tenner or less ha.

Fred: im doing well thanks, and you? My laptop has died, ive come over to mums and its not working. Stick is left back at mine so thats another day wasted. Really annoying.

I could go out to rowanda and fit all the ladies with bras couldnt i. Although would they care about that? I cant cook or build, so my skills that i could offer them are quite limited.

Anyway, I think AJAX has finally found me on facebook. I wondered what man i knew that i had 8 friends in common with. Turns out hes not that minging is he? Although he seems to have a STRONG love affair with shorts. I was shocked he wore trousers at his wedding :p

Im well excited about christmas. Matt and i are going to have a decoration day. Were going to have bacon sarnies for breakfast, then go to the garden centre to see the christmas decorations. Were going to come home, play some christmas songs and decorate the tree and flat. Then were going to have a vicki mini christmas meal followed by watching the film elf!! how groovy.

    right see ya soon folks

Dunno if it helps Vix, but I used to email my work in progress to my hotmail account, (as an attached document, with the name, date & time as the subject), then I could access it wherever I was working. Good if laptops, sticks, etc go wrong too. I keep a doc with a summary of each article/ref I used on hotmail too. I've finished but working on an academic paper now, must be mad, lol.

    Good luck!
    Anytime;)

Evening, just back and reporting a 1.5lb loss:D :D:D. Loving SW more by the day, I've eaten plenty of crisps, but something's definitely working. Have walked loads though, so that must have helped . Probably would have lost more if I been 'good' though:rolleyes:.

Ooooh, I love mince pies, but have managed to avoid them so far this year.

    Have a good evening all.
    Anytime;)
