  • hi there, i was after a bit of advice from you guys:

I am after a pair of boots but due to having large legs, i cannot find a boot to fit over my calfs. Do any of you have this problem and if so where do you get them from? I have tried these E, EE, EEE, and even EEEE fittings (simplybe, vivaladiva etc) and they are still too small :(

    any ideas? x

    Hi

Have you tried Duo boots? You can choose the style and then tell them the calf size. There is a shop in Bath and a shop in Saville Row in London although in the Savile Row shop they take your order and deliver the boots the next day.

The website is very user friendly as well. Also, they have good reductions in the sale.

I can second Duoboots. I wear my boots from them all the time and they are great. If you are able to visit one of their fitting rooms they will measure you and bring out the boots you want to try on. Then they order them for you and they are delivered to your home.

  • It's DVD tagz:o .
How are you doing today pcl? Have you managed breakfast/lunch? It very cold so remember you are worth looking after: you're body needs extra fuel to cope with the cold.
I saw parents last night so eating remains of mum's emergency food parcel:D . Not very WL but very MSE and even more importantly, very yum.
Welcome to the wl fold Rob. My OH as lost 1.5 stone this summer on SW and it works great for us, though we favour red days. That's what is good aabout it though, you can easily adapt it to how you like to eat.
Glad to hear Suggs is about.:hello: Suggs, if you are lurking. Hope the op went well.
Puting my feet up for the rest of the day and feeing a bit off colour and have been doing rather a lot. Time to chill.
Kpc - have a fanctasic last day at your job:j .

Hope you've had a good week and not overdone it too much BB :) I thought it might be DVD as I knew he was a 'local' ;) (not that I know where Timmy Mallet lives!).

I've done the equivalent of a sprint triathlon in the gym today. 750 metres swim, 20km on the exercise bike, 5km on the treadmill. 9 minutes faster than the outdoor one I did earlier in the year excluding transitions (transitions were a lot faster too).

It was kinda hard work :p and I missed my lovely scenery :p but gotta ring the changes once in a while!

Have a great weekend peeps! :D
  • thanks missy - have pushed myself a little but had a very bad nights sleep which always knocks me for six, don't seem to have any reserves to ride that sort of thing: Hoping to be bouncing back tomorrow however: a girl's got decluttering to get done:D . Have enjoyed having a week off and pottering at my own pace. Have mentioned to OH I would be quite happy to be a kept woman. He hasn't stopped laughing yet.

Victory - you are right to be hopeful with your son's diagnosis - early diagnosis for your son is the best thing that could happen to him: there is a lot of help out there, though some have to push harder than others for it depending where you live. But he's been caught early enough to deal with self esteem issues etc. My cousin's son was disagnosed at 11 and he has had good support (mum had to fight for it though) and he's done really well at school and has now just gone to university.

Dragon - I hope Dr Dragon's interview went well today.
