bb, scales have gone so i cant get obsessed again, its just one of many battles im loosing with myself atm and im struggling to remember why i care...but i go away on the 14th december, and theres no way my sister will not notice/let me not eat, hopefully that 2 weeks will be enough to kick me back into listening to all the logic and facts that i know if that makes sense. (and hopefully the meds will kick in too)

Happy birthday marion!! hope youre having a nice day
Working till midnight wasnt that bad, but it was funny working on the same day twice with a sleep in between. Megaday has been soooooooo busy this year, the canterbury store lost out a lot to westwood and ashford, but this year we were back up to the level i was used to 3 years ago.
I went to m&s i bought 3 items with the 20% off, well good. I got some good bargains.
Christmas shopping nearly done, handbags, jumpers and perfume all round ha. Its taken alot of work though!!
Im so excited cos i have a weekend off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my last one this year. Im absolutly excitemento.

Happy Birthday Marion!
I made a decision this week, I spoke to my slimming instructor and have decided that I am not going to be wieghing it at class for a few weeks. I'm still going to go for the exercise session etc but my mind isn't on teh programme fully at the moment. I'm sure once I have my results from teh hospital etc things will start to get better. Hopefully when I have seen the specialist again in January I will have the medication to help me combat one of the side effects of PCOS which is weight gain.
I'm still going to be here , you don't get rid of me that easily!!

Well done BabyKat!!!
Jules I've got PCOS too and I was put on Cyproterone. It's not a nice drug so they had to take me off it for a while. They also said something about insulin levels are often a prob with PCOS too and that can cause the weight gain. Hope you feel better soon and you are so right to keep up the exercise sessions, I find I can only shift the weight it if I exercise.I would if I could but I can't so I won't!0 -
Just to say a big huge THANK YOU so much to everybody yesterday for all the birthday greetings. It was lovely and so kind of everyone:T:T:T I have pushed everyones thanks buttons too:A
I had a nice day, behaved myself eating untill the evening when I enjoyed a large cod and chips, 1/4 of a carrot and orange cake and several glasses of wine. Enjoyed it all and feel no guilt whatsoever:D
Love to all

I'm glad you were well enough to enjoy your cod and chips :j Marion.
Thanks for the Duo tip - I'm normally stuck to finding ankle boots that lace up as I struggle to get my foot into zip ones(obviously not flexible enough in the ankle department

She was going to put me on cyproterone but said that they would be too harsh to start off with. I'm hoping that I'll be started on Metformin to help with the insulin resistance and she said possibly spyronolactone(sp?) which is the alternative to cyproterone. So far I'm really impressed with the Endocrinology dept @ the Royal Free.Weight loss since 01/08/07 - 72 lbs:j0
