  • Haha, sorry about that dragon, and thanks ajax - I have to take a lot of meds, and I always jokingly refer to them as my drugs. I forget that mightn't translate so well on here!!
Jules - sorry to hear life's a bit humphf at the moment. Hang on the fact you haven't put weight on I guess. Life tends to go in phases I find. And I try and remind myself of that when all seems carp.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

LOL BB/Ajax about the drugs :p Well done Dragon! :D Congrats on the other losses & STS coming in too, including your loss Ajax!

I've been out running today, 2 hours through some absolutely stunning scenery. This cross country business has really opened my eyes this autumn! Loved every minute of it.

Been trying to 'pack in' lots of calories today as that was quite a serious run, and ideally I would have liked to munch through 1900 but I've got to 1716 (including a bowl of cereal for later) and can't do any more :rotfl: How these top athletes take on 5000 or so cals a day when training, I do not know!

  • Hi folks... glad to see so many of you doing well.

popping in to report an embarrassing :o4lb gain. Think maybe the comfort eating has started to kick in.

Ah well, I'd say there's always next week but I have a big night out on Saturday for a friend's birthday. Will do my best in the meantime.

    Have a good week everyone.

    Put on 2.5 lbs.
Not actually as bad as I thought it would be given that I've been eating for England. (or possibly the whole of Europe). I've read the books, I know what I'm doing wrong and I just keep on doing it.
Has anybody tried the 'beyond chocolate' course? I've just started reading the book from that, and there's an online thing you can do. I suspect I could sabotage myself with that too.

Despondent Granny, annoyed with my own stupidity.

PS back after 10 with the updated chart. Some wonderful losses this week (you too Ajax) and some really super consistent losers.

Ajax ... your current loss still shows at 41lb (before this week's 7.5). Do you want that kept as it is or adjusted? Just let me know, preferably before 10 o'clock.

Nah, I need to start over otherwise I'll just be my lazy self and rest on my laurels.
