Thank you very much, especially brighton belle:D I read it to my OH and he was like 'wow, that is so accurate, so very true'
I know deep down no one will give me the truth, will not know whether it is because I am diabetic and cannot 'party until the early hours' as don't drink or it is the kids, the lack of money but whatever, whichever they want to put on it, if I had been told, asked I could have made my own decision as you have rightly said, I would have prob chosen a no but at least give me the chance to make up my own mind.
It will pass, within a day or so it will pass and something else more important will take up my mind space like xmas or job hunting or whatever and will not get to the bottom of it because they don't talk properly. I so agree it is not decent behaviour, feel left out, lower than low, keep asking why not me?
My sister is my best friend, she is my confidant, my first port of call, I adore her and she has never let me down, still she is going and I am not and why?
I asked her about it and she passed the buck that it was my nephew organizing it and she did not know, I went to my nephews wedding in Sep and we get on fab, why?
Now everyone seems to know I did not know about it and still they pass the buck.
THANK YOU everyone, need to not think anymore:D0 -
You are very welcome victory. I hope your sister at least is able to give you what you need (and deserve) and that the pain eases enough for you to sleep well tonight xx
Marion - I'm enjoying you posting your menu's. Our dinner tonight was all in the remoska - I love getting creative with how much I can cram in to it don't you? We had shredding chicken in a HM onion sauce with barbeque spices, served with mashed celeriac and red cabbage (previously mass cooked in red wine vingar n'stuff). Yum.
pcl - you've been doing really well with losing weight these last few weeks. I'm glad the drugs have eased the cravings a bit - I have the same problem with mine - on a higher dose I get sooo hungry and we have to adjust them regularly up and down. On lower dose this month.
How long til you start your new job kpc?
I've got next week off work. Can't wait.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

Squirrel Stew
Ingredients:
1 squirrel, quartered
1 cup diced onion
2 large tomatoes (from your garden) or 1 can of tomatoes
Assorted fresh ,or canned veggies
Preparation:
Sprinkle seasoned salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper (optional) liberally on the meat. Spray frylight oil into a large pot (dutch oven). Saut! the meat with the onions until well browned. Add about 2 cups water, and bring to a boil. Cut up the tomatoes and add. If you use canned tomatoes add them now. Turn down the heat, and let slow cook for at least an hour. Important: older squirrels may require cooking longer than an hour. Check periodically for tenderness. If you don't you will have a hard time chewing the meat. After the meat is tender, add the veggies, carrots, potatoes, what ever you like. Cook until the veggies are done.
Pretty sure this would be free on red:D:D;):D:D
