Thanks Grannynise, you really are fab for doing the chart all the time!

That's kind Jay but I've only done the chart now and again. I'd like to pass it on at the end of November --- applications on one side of A4 please, stating your experience, qualifications and reasons for wanting .... oh no, not at work now. If anyone would like to have next go please pm me.
    Love Granny
  • Where the heck has this week gone?! Can't believe I didn't even post my WI on Monday! C has gone away to Spain for a week so I'm all out of sorts. It was a STS anyway so didn't matter!

  • i know what you mean fred. I really don't understand why all the dresses seem to be strapless at the moment, i find them so unflattering. I got a nice one in tesco last week - it's very forties. Dark blue lace, flares out a lot from the waist, high neckline and sleeveless. IT had a horrid cheap belt on it but I took it off and cut the belt loops off and it's much better. MAke sure you take a pair of heels into the changing room with you when you are dress shopping as it makes a huge difference to how the dress will look!

..... after everything you went through last year???

    Morning vic!

So glad you got your compensation money Alex! Must have been a huge relief. I am lucky enough to be in the position of having so little savings that I didn't have to worry about compensation:D, however I am now refusing to even look at my share prices until Xmas:mad:! I am working under the idea of what the eye doesn't see the heart doesn't grieve over:rotfl:, or as others might put it - sticking my head in the sand:rotfl:!

Here is my eating plan for the day, I am doing mix2match on SW:

Breakfast, cereal, yogurt, fresh berries (heb+free+free)
milk in cereal and coffee throughout the day (hea)
snacks - banana, apple & pear throughout the day (free)
Lunch - Homemade soup (combining leftover shepards pie with leftover butternut squash soup and a bit of knorr stock) (should be free and quite interesting to taste too! It will either be really yummy or absolutly disgusting!)
Dinner - Salmon and vegetables with rice all cooked in the Remoska so fat free (heb+free +free+6syns for extra salmon)
Pudding - lemon hi-fibre bar and yogurt (6syns+free)

Think thats about it, what do you think?

    Love
    Marion

No that was the year before where I rented without seeing the flat the worst smelly stinky squalor flat there ever was but hey it did come with a pool:rotfl: :rotfl: this one this summer was vetted first by my mother and given a hospital clean seal of approval and was fine, small, no pool but efficient and a place to sleep, the kids were happy with it, at least you could cook in the kitchen this time but so far no reply, oh how I love the spanish way of doing business:rotfl: :rotfl:

.... I was thinking more of this year when you had the problem of ... erm... a 'number of weeks' confusion between your mother, yourself and the apartment owner. That's probably the best way to put it ;) I remember you being a bit worried about that.

... thanks Marion. The vast majority of mine wasn't savings either, it was a stoozpot - of which the first card deal ends at the end of January 2009, so this was very welcome.

As for your SW day, I know very little about M2M but I must say that it looks extremely healthy... certainly can't see anyone getting fat eating like that :D
  • I lost 2.5lbs :)

fredsnail~I have a family wedding in Feb & have given up on a dress.
My mum has bought me a lovely long floaty skirt from Per Una & I have bought a blouse.
The dresses were all too short for me :( so I know how hard it is to find something.
Plus I will wear the skirt again & the top.
    Hope you get something.
