  • reporting a 0.8kg loss this week , hooray! First time in a while i've lost 2 weeks on the bounce. REALLY got to stay focussed this weekend, don't want to lose it.

Bails it was very tempting but OH would be really cross. He hates cats and says it would be unfair to bring one into the house knowing that. Doesn't stop me wanting one though!

well done fred - and all the other losers. it's probably not family that are funny - just women. she probably wanted you to say 'go on, we'll have a takeaway' so she could avoid the guilt. At least this way you did too!

welcome ikkle. Good luck with your weigh in tomorrow!
  • -2lbs off this week. seems being back at work has some benefits.:j
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.
  • Well - the dog walking seems to be helping...
I have LOST 1.5lbs this week - that is good to me as the scales have been stuck for quite a while now!
Off for my shower and onto work now.
    Lesley.
NO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........

First SW class last night, and it was a bizarre experience. There were only 10 people there so the image therapy bit took about 15 minutes, then we were 'treated' to a demonstration of kickboxing by two martial arts bods who were flogging their new all-shapes-all-ages-all-sizes-all-abilities-ladies-only martial arts lessons at our local gym. They gave everyone a 'First lesson free' voucher though so I passed that on to MrsA. I hope she uses it, as long as she doesn't kick seven bells out of me.

Can't wait 'til next week. Strictly Ultimate Cage Fighting On Ice, hopefully.

London, 1lb to 1.5lb per week is an ideal, sustainable, healthy weight loss

Crikey Alex that sounds like a good class to go too! The highlight at my class is a cooking demonstration or a taste session. A couple of martial arts bods would have livened us all up a bit!:rotfl:

Good losses being reported to everyone here today - well done!:j

I am doing a mix2match SW day today (as I do most days). I am having:

Breakfast - oats so simple with frozen blueberries, yogurt and a banana.
Lunch - Left over pasta bake from last nights dinner (free on green)
Dinner - SW shepards pie made with leftover from Sundays joint and a mashed celariac and swede topping - free on red
snacks throughout the day - scan bran cakes and fresh fruit

I would like to start putting my daily menu's on here if no one objects, I am hoping it will help keep me focused and it may help others too!:o

    Love

  • minus 3 and a half for me this week please.

well done on the losses everyone.

i have exactly a month left to either fit into my size 12 summer clothes again or buy new stuff, and i cant afford the buying new stuff.

thankfully it seems that splitting the higher dose of my medication isnt giving me the carb and sugar cravings that this dose did first time round. i was dreading a return to not having the will power to resist those cravings.

The powers that be have decided I will NOT be having cheesecake this week :rotfl: My 2 pack mini cheesecakes (which were on offer) arrived as a substitution of one full-on giant luxury cheesecake (with a luxury price :p) so that was politely rejected... perhaps I'll try again next month ;)

I have a new fitness gadget though which produces graphs and summaries of your workout stats (heart rate, speed, distance, time, altitude etc) and you can also produce precise GPS maps of where exactly you've run, cycled etc. As you can imagine, for an anorak like me, this is all a little TOO exciting :rotfl:

Bails - Anita Bean is the author of the book :)

Lesley, so funny about the Blue theme. I would have done the same I'm sure :o

Well done on all the losses!
