i shop at Aldi regularly. I buy all my fruit and veg there. I can really recommend the lightly dusted haddock, cod and lemon sole. The haddocks my favourite, lovely and chunky. The tinned ravaoli also nice.
Also always buy the big pack of honey roast ham, really good value.
We also buy the jars of cooking sauces for chicken, the creole is gorgeous. The diet ginger beer really nice too.0 -
i buy olive oil, diet lemonade, parmasean cheese, polish sausage, tinned toms, fresh fruit and veg when on offer.0

Its the big one in the fridge section. Last time I had it it was £1.99. I think its about £2.19 now! Very nice and prob 6 portions out of it. I used to cut it up pre baking and only bake the piece I wanted. Very Very good!
Oh try and get the one with the most cheese on the topFeb GC: £200 Spent: £190.790 -
Aldi:
Tomato paste
Pesto
Passata
Olive oil
Parmesan (block)
Higher end wine (Sancerre, Chablis, NZ Sauvignon Blanc)
Exotic Veg (chillis, garlic etc cheaper)
Exotic Fruit (Avocados, mangos etc)
Frozen fish fillets
German Bratwurst (they don't use wheat fillers..basically pure meat + spices)
Natural yogurt
Batteries
Dark chocolate
Long grain rice (for some reason it doesn't stick like other brands do at times)
Red/White wine vinegar
Chorizo/Parma ham“Don't do it! Stay away from your potential. You'll mess it up, it's potential, leave it. Anyway, it's like your bank balance - you always have a lot less than you think.”
