Aldi chocolate is great, Lidls real ales, Lidls fruit and veg and biscuits, cleaning product, lamb shanks, quality ice cream.

I dont like Lidls tinned fruit - it all seems to be juice, no fruit!

We do buy the occasional thing in Lidl or Aldi when on a deal, but in my experience many things are in fact more expensive than in Morrisons / Asda / Tesco and even Sainsburys for some things.

Don't think we'll be converting any time soon.
