  • My Video died at the weekend and so I took the plunge. I've just bought a Pioneer DVR-420 dvd recorder (multiregion, 80gb hard drive) from Richer Sounds for £269.99 plus £6.99 (you can pick it up yourself).
Thats about £30 cheaper than anywhere else.

The current Makro mail shows a Goodmans GDVD301R dvd recorder for #99.99 (plus vat = 117.49)

Does anyone know if this is any good?

That one was being sold in Tesco for around £140 if my memory serves me right  . It looks pretty good. I have a Goodmans bread maker from Tesco and it's brilliant. Still in use after two years;)
