Who can find the cheapest available to all DVD Recorder. Do note this is DVD recorder not DVD player.
Please note if you are including voucher codes always state the source (so we can be sure they're legit and not just for one person).
I shall start the pot off with £120 here though I'm expecting that to be easily beatible

Hardly "Available to all" as they are only in sotck in Glasgow !0 -
have you even tried your local trade counter?
and there are only 2 richer sounds stores in scotland so i think you should put your petted lip away, up here we get 25% or less of the things posted on this site.0 -
madmaca just beat me to it, but missed the £10.00 off boxed dvd sets with this recorder - these are 5 films sets "action" and "entertainment" - normally £29.99 reduced to £22.49 and now another £10.00 off. Only available in store.
ps agree with other statements about Richer Sounds - neither offers available in Belfast.0 -
From Hexus forums:
Argos have one - A Lite-on:
http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&partNumber=5334070
Only until 30th Nov
but thats not all....
Free vouchers when you spend:
Free £5 when you spend £50
Free £10 when you spend £100
Until Sunday 5th December
which would bring down the overall cost of the recordable player to £109.99
aren't Argos vouchers that you receive normally only usable on a future purchase, after a certain date so it's not strictly £109.99 there and then? I know in the past I got a voucher and it had restrictions placed onit0 -

all 'currently' have the £89.95 DVD recorder in stock though of course this will be subject to change and may not be reflected up to date on the web0 -
A bit tortuous really but you can buy Argos gift vouchers via Lloyds TSB Trustcard at a 10% discount. That would bring the net cost of the Lite-On at Argos (referred to by madmaca), down to under £100. Whether you have time to do this by the 5th December is debatable.
But the voucher tip is good for the future.0 -
Martin shouldnt the mods put this on the "Iwant" Forum?? Ithink your great...(In fear of being struck off!?)

johnllew dont forget though if you go under £100 at argos you wont get your £10 gift voucher to spend next time. I nearly did this when using nectar points as well as a gift voucher this morning bill came to £101. close call nearly missed out.0

Another big thank you to this website and its contributors for guiding me to another great product at a bargain price, in this case the Argos-sourced Liteon 5005 DVD recorder which I picked up this morning.
I found it very easy to set up and start a test recording, using the re-recordable DVD+RW provided free in the box. I used the SP 2 hour per DVD mode, for second highest recording quality. Even at that setting, the playback quality is breathtaking by any standards and certainly compared to VHS or the only-slightly-better S-VHS.
Highly recommended, based on first impressions.
No wonder Dixons have abandoned VHS recorders.0
