In total I need to pay around £15,000

Are there any cards that will allow me do this? Which is the best one?

    thanks

Try Virgin 0% BT card - they are usually generous with their limits provided you have a decent credit rating.

Basically for the majority of May I cannot use the card without overcome the credit limit.

Maybe you all know this, but I'm new here and this sounds to me like another trick...

You are right...a way to overcome this is to pay them as soon as the amounts are registered on your card rather than wait for the statement and direct debits. Amex accept faster payments (hopefully your bank uses it as well) and you then free up the card much more quickly. It is tedious and requires discipline but then who said money saving was easy

    Shell Credit Card :T

If you mean Shell Mastercard from Citi (3% shell fuel and 1% other purchase cash back) then it is no longer available to new customers

There is no rule that says your credit card account can't go into credit sometimes. So you don't have to constantly top up the account. If you can spare the cash, why not pay in advance? With typically low interest rates this becomes more attractive. But ONLY consider this if having a credit balance won't encourage you to spend faster - topping up in advance might save on the tedium, but needs still more discipline.
However hard up you are, never accept loans from your friends. Just gifts

I don't know which card we are referring to here but normally credit amounts are not insured against theft/fraud, so generally it isn't a good idea to go into credit on a creidt card (unless it's specifically designed to carry savings like Egg Money).

Can't say for certain - but any cards that I've had or still have

    a) charge fees for balance transfers/cash advances

    b) don't include the above in any reward schemes

    Hi,

I hadn't thought that I wouldn't be able to pay off my load by phoning up and providing a credit card number.

I'm not after 0% interest cards. I have the money to pay, just trying to get somthing for nothing when I pay the loan off.

    Thanks for the input.

Any thoughts on the new egg money world mastercard?

I currently have AmEx & Tesco clubcard credit card spending about 250 pounds per month on each.

So it's only about 0.6% cashback compared to 1% on tesco deals... it would def beat AmEx's 0.5% but only a mere £3 difference/year
