I have requested that HSBC send money to another account at a different bank on the 26th of January 2009. I went online I could not find it. It is a one off payment. Where would it be located?0

Choose 'Make a payment'
Under 'Other options' there is a link for 'View or cancel pending payments'

I have a basic acount with HSBC which I don't use too much (my salary comes into another account but I have an old mobile phone contract direct debit which I didn't bother to change and the quidco money going in, and some other silly stuff)
I have a Maestro card which expires on 01/09, do you have any idea with what will they change it? (I asked a few months ago in branch and they said it will be a solo card, but I see people here saying something about visa....)0 -
It says that I have no pending payments. I am sure that I set one up I have contacted internet banking.0

I have checked all 4 of my accounts again. What I have done is to set up a new payment for the 26th of January and informed internet banking to ignore my last email. As it does not exist on my accounts there is no point searching for it.
I was wondering could it have been set up as a 2008 payment by mistake?0 -
Sorry, just re read your post.... not sure about basic accounts..
Basic accounts don't come with debit cards. I think he means the Current Account, i.e. not Advance.
Had a couple of customers show up recently in branch though - thanks to internal screwups, they've got BBAs with £100 cheque guarantee cards on them... :eek:0
