tesco.com, Wines of the Loire mixed case quantity mistake [CLOSED]

Got mine in last night. Tried this morning for 5 more cases having sussed that the price of the individual bottles from cases is £22.44 (assuming case of 6). So total bargain for case of 12 (especially as I used the 1000 bonus clubcard point on offer).

But looks very likely that we will only be sent 6 and not the 12 on the order confirmation. What a shame Mr Tescos, I'll be phoning on Thursday as well!!

Thanks, wanted a free Tesco drink on Christmas Eve and now it looks as if I can have several!!

Any chance that they will cancel these orders? Certainly possible they'll just say they're no longer in stock and not even turn up to deliver - they've done it to me before, and didn't give a stuff when I phoned up to complain.

Do you mean the price to buy the six bottles individually is £22.44?? Certainly wouldnt be a good bargain to only get six bottles for £24 then

Earlier this year, we caught Tesco advertising bottles of Wynns Michael Shiraz on its website for GBP 9.75 each, but trying to charge customers double after they'd already ordered it at that price and received an order confirmation.

But if only 6 turn up and you ordered 12 - that's what all the paperwork says - then you have a good case for complaining and demanding they refund your money and let you keep the item. After all that's national policy.
And if they don't offer to do this, threaten them with Trading Standards - they got a big fine already this week for misselling wine
And if the worst comes to the worst insist they collect the wine back.
Or you could demand compensation in the form of Clubcard vouchers to the value of the difference between what you expected and what you got!

Who has the earliest delivery date? Mine is 2nd December 1300-1500. Anyone had any emails frm Tesco yet????

my delivery date is 1st Dec, between 9 and 11am. No further emails since the confirmation one. Just sit tight and wait for them to deliver. It's best not to call them or email them about this in advance because they need to deliver it first to form the contract
