    Hi all,

My first post today, I'm normally an early bird, Was up early again as was DH so stripped bed, washed, line dried and back on by 11am.

DD2 phoned, I could almost hear her jumping with joy at dicovering the makeover I did, Lots of OMG OMG Oh Mum OMG. I think she was pleased

Took DH to hosp for the Carotid arteries to be x-rayed, GREAT news:j :j they were clear, and no probs found. We are so pleased.:T Have to see Consultant next Tues to see what the next step is.

Went to the market on the way home and got loads of fruit going for a song as they were packing up. Juiced 48 oranges, messy job. I carved off enough Lamb I cooked on Sun portioned 6 meals and froze. With the rest I made 18 Lamb burgers and a Sheperds Pie. All in the freezer now.

Called into Mr M and got 24 bread rolls for 20p so as I had the F/P out I blitzed them so have a hue bag of B/crumbs.

Time for dinner and an early night. I haven't read through, only pressed thanks buttons, but was looking out for you MEAMMARIE, It is good news that there was no sign of a bleed, ULICK will have lots of tests but at least they are exploring every avenue. It is a stressfull time for you but you must eat and sleep as you need your strength. I think and pray for you and your family. Wish I could do something, if ever you need someone to chat to please pm me, like every other friend that's what we are here for. The OS and MSE is just an added extra.

(((((((( Hugs to you all ))))))))))
  • That's great news Beth. :j

Marie, I hope Ulrick improves soon. Pleeeeaaase take care of you too.

  • Hi there

We have Links Family farm down here in East Lothian (at West Barns). Not a cheap day out but the grandkids do love it. Worth a visit especially if you decide to travel to say Edinburgh.

AAAARRRGHHHHHH my thanks button isn't working

What a non-MSE day  Went to the shop to buy milk and bananas and Mr troo added beer to the basket  Then he decided to make butter - so he bought full-fat milk (PMSL). I consult OS, and tell him he has to use cream. He says he hasn't got cream so will try the milk (PMSL). He made a mess and blew up the mixer (NOT PMSL). Then he poured the mess down the sink.

WannabeSybil, happy anniversary for yesterday. Mr Twit and I don't bother with cards either. Your posts today sounded really upbeat and positive.

Welcome to the newbies and returnees and I hope all those we've not heard from for a while are ok, Joannasmum and SilverCharming both spring to mind having had poorly OHs recently.
