    morning all!

am waiting in this morning for the electrician to come and fit a new meter for us.This afternoon its 'person centred planning' training for me at work.(on my day off:rolleyes: but will get t.o.i.l) This is to set up PCPs for the service users I support - this is their hopes and aims for the future etc, not easy when they have no communication/speech and are blind.

(((hugs))) to Marie and pippa xxx

Mioliere - hope the painful hands soon ease up, luckily my tendonitis has not recurred.

    Mrs_mix and catowen :hello: :hello:

Mellika - glad things are improving for you both!

(((hugs))) to anyone else in need!

JackieO - great to see you posting yesterday :D
Melika - Glad things are looking up:T
    Kathy - I don't know what we'd do without you remembering everyone, you're a star:A
Thank you also to someone who said yesterday that I should get a copy of my credit report and check it.

I have overslep by an hour and a half :o but must have needed it because I had to drag myself up even then. I've been referred to Occupational Health by my line manager because I had 3 bouts of sickness in 6 months - tbh I think it's because I'm worn out and will catch anything going. Anyway, DD2 and I have woken up with one eye stuck together - which I presume is conjunctivitus but I really feel that my jobs at risk if I take a day of work to look after her and go to doctors, but as a single mum with no family within reach I think the only thing I can do is to drop her in to school as is and drag myself off to work. I can't afford to lose my job but obviously the kids come first - not to mention my health and I have been under the weather since mid August but I need to pay the mortgage cos a roof over our head is obviously important too.

Rant over :o and off to make the pack lunches feeling sorry for myself

Hope everyone has a great day xx

Hilstep - I think the pigment in turmeric (curcumin?) is not stable to light - I'd dab it lightly with some meths (check that doesn't shred the carpet first!)then try and get some sunlight on it if you can, cel x

    Morning all

Well, it was one of those days yesterday where nothing much seemed to get done, but an awful long time was spent on doing it

I've made a start on the great declutter, targeting one room at a time. It's going to take a while depending on how I am each day, but we are starting to drown in stuff. The girls work is one of the problems - books, papers, nik naks ect. I worry about getting rid of stuff, as it's all evidence should the LEA call, that they are receiving an education, but it takes up so much space.

We cleared the games cupboard yesterday, then spent part of the evening playing games, which we all enjoyed. DVDs and videos are today's plan for a sort through.

I've done most of the ironing this morning. There's a few more tops to do, but I needed a break, so thought mse was just the right place to take a break in :D

BM is on and I've a bag full of tomatoes waiting to be turned into soup or sauce or more likely both as Dad bought so many over. Shopping is coming later as well, so that will need sorting.

Melika - positive thoughts. Congrats to your husband on his job, and on your visa arrival :T

I haven't read all of yesterday's thread so ((((HUGS)))) to those who need one.

Hope you all have a lovely day, whatever you're doing.

    Pipkin xxxx

    Morning folks,

Ooh, I'm aching this morning. Nice easy day today though, will be up on the bays which just involves riding around on the power pallet and writing a few things down :)

Put a ham joint in the sc overnight, so that is now cooling ready to be sliced. Will make pea and ham soup later on

Melikka - Good that things are looking up for you :jump:

I think dinner will be pea and prawn risotto.

Troo - I loved that story about the little boy! I must remember to tell DH when he gets home!

Taplady - thank you so much for your concern; my tendonitis is worse first thing in the morning because I seem to clench my hands in one position in my sleep. Once they have been 'unfolded' they really do ease up but they and my brain need a cup of tea as soon as we wake up! It certainly doesn't stop me typing, as I'm sure you can tell!

Jet - I hope you and DD feel better as the day goes on.

(((Hugs))) to Candygirl's DD - life is horrid, sometimes, isn't it?

Well, I've wrapped my parcels up and will walk up to the post office now - it's a lovely day so I shall enjoy the walk.

    See you all later.
