    Hi :)

Last night turned on my LCD, heard the noise Flimber was on about (Squeezing air out of a bottle sound). Decided I'm not going to take any chances and get it replaced.
    ...

I knew I wouldn't be the only one ;) Good luck getting a replacement. Mine should have come Friday bit was postponed because it was OOS. The couriers say I should get a new one this week but whether stock has been allocated to me what with all the other orders etc is unknown.

    Mike.

They are probably building some more...If not I'm not too worried as its only the bedroom TV so if I have to get a refund then I will have to get a refund :)

Well I finally managed to speak to someone in the Irish call centre, who is going to investigate and then call me back. At first they said that they would have to cancel the order if it is an 'End of Life' item (I checked and they didn't say End of Line as i first thought). When I said it was not acceptable to jsut cancel my order, they said they were going to ionvestigate and call me back!

We'll see - if they do actually call back I will be amazed. I spoke to Sonia and she did seem to want to help, so at least that was an improvement on the Indian Call Centre staff who jsut seem to want to get me off the phone as quickly as possible!

I'm in the process of chasing up two of these, both with internet receipts and one with an order number that was cancelled very early on because I didn't make contact with them by phone within two days of placing the order. However I had a big argument with them and got them to reinstate that one, hasten to say I still have not been given an approximate delivery date.

Neither order can be found on their crappy automated system. I'm none too pleased.
  • Mine has been delayed again, ordered on the 29th at 17:00.

Original delivery date 5/12, then 8/12 and now 13/12.

I would rather they told me it was cancelled, if I was not going to get one, rather than just this delay after delay.

Hey look on the bright side, at least your order exists and you have a delivery date. :)

Imagine the uproar if these orders get delayed until after christmas.
  • Yeah I suppose

But I just had this bad feeling it will end up being cancelled. Just the pessimist in me.

Can anyone clarify "Force Majeure" on their T&C's para 14. Not up on the law but that seems like the only get out for them?.
