Question: Can my family members benefit from this discount?
Answer: The program is available to employees of participating companies and their immediate families (siblings, parents, partners, children).
Key word being 'siblings'.
My brother works for JD wetherspoons, is that business part of the programme?
Also is there a list of which business are involved inthis programme on the net somewhere?0 -
If I bought the 26” LCD and connected my multi-region DVD player to it, will it be able to play the DVDs? Does it have NTSC capability (or whatever it is called)?
Also, if I just bought the LCD, what is this card reader that people are going on about? Is it not just as simple as buying one and setting it up to watch TV or do you need to buy extras?0 -
yes it will play dvd's the region part only applies to the dvd player itself, the card reader is for reading memory cards out of digital cameras etc0
-
The tech Specs don't mention NTSC support so theres no garantee it won't come out black and white and wigly on NTSC playback, Most new TV's have NTSC support so hopefully this has to.

The card reader cost slighlty extra via the options and allows you to read memory cards. You normally get them with some electrical euipement , i got them on my pc, external harddrive, divx player & printer. You can play also audio and video files stored on them depending on what equipment you use.0 -

Jamesybravo the playing of multi-regional DVDs is not solely limited to your DVD player, it also depends on whether your TV support NTSC playback otherwise you can have a multi-regional DVD player, pop in say a region 1 disc and it will either not show on your TV, or play in black and white as opposed to normal colour.
Megazoid – is there anywhere where I can found out this information for definite? Or a number to call? I don’t want to spend out all that money only to find it doesn’t have the capability to show multi-regional DVDs in colour.
EDIT: Just found this on their site, does this mean it doesn't have NTSC playback?
Dual analogue (PAL/SECAM) tuners included0 -
