The Problem
The forums are now on new servers. There are lots of complaints above. One issue for us at MSE Towers is the site is fairly zipping along and working wonderfully, thus its surprising for us so many people seem to be having problems. Is it working well for others....Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.

Since changing to the new servers everything has been flying here untill yesterday when it was back to the old days of slow to load pages. Bit better today but not a lot.
The other thing is that in Firefox I always have a scroll bar at the bottom which is annoying. I know this has come up before and got some tips to get rid of it. They partially worked but not compleyely. What is more annoying is that the first day on the new servers for a while it dissappeared but then returned. Not like it on any other site or using IE.

Yes, I am being notified of my own posts too. This is as well as a separate notification for each new post, which is not supposed to happen. You should get one notification, then no more until you visit the forum again.Dagobert wrote:When I subscribed to a thread, I seem to be getting notified of my own posts now. This did not use to be the case, I'm sure. I have not changed my settings.
BTW, this page, (the one I am composing my reply on), is all over the place, about twice the normal width - and no long links in sight, (the usual cause of extra-wide pages).
Speed seems pretty good at this time, though.A penny saved is a penny gained0 -
I guess somebody must have given my !!!!!! a good shot of the old steroids because it is currently zipping along on its three legs

Please, please could you do something about the multiple new-post alerts? I am getting so fed up receiving a separate alert for each new post filling up my inbox.

We always used to get one alert for a new post on a subscribed thread, then no more until we visited the forum again.
Cheers,

Hi Marigold,
Is this still happening? Does it happen on every thread you subscibe to or just specific ones? Has anyone else experienced this since we moved?
We certainly haven't changed any settings in that respect so I'm unsure of the origin of the problem.
Can I request that you unsubscribe and then re-subscribe fromthe thread(s) in question to see if that removes the problem?
Thanks,
Webby0
