  • I have also had my email saying I have not got a room - congrats to everyone who did get a room (that they are able to use)!
  • I got the dreaded email too. No room at the inn... :(

  • Hi,

this offer was just so disappointing.

I was actually looking for a luxury hotel in November in London, and if they had done "buy a night, get a night free" or similar, then I would have been happy to book with them.

I have now booked with Red Carnation instead.

    Cheers,
    Karen

If anyone wants to get their own back on this bunch of jokers do a Google search for LHW and theirs should be the first result listed as a "sponsored link". Every time you click that link it costs them money.Get clicking.

No room at the inn for me as well, I like that, thanks.
Sad to see people bitter about this, there was only realistically a small chance to get a room and it was a bigger loser to most.
Move on, look for other bargains, luckily they come around often on this site.
Good luck to those who got a room they can actually use, or a one they actually selected. Enjoy.

i did. if standing up for your viewpoint is an argument in your definition, then i'd stay away from discussion forums.

It is possible to stand up for your viewpoint without resulting to name-calling like "patronising".,when the other person hasn't been rude to you.

That's a very subjective post. My post was not directed at you, but you jumped in and accused me of looking for an argument.

    How ironic.

but it was aimed at me - I decided to ignore your pathetic little comment assuming you were throwing your toys out of the cot due to not getting your hotel choice. Neither did I btw hope that makes you happy.

Now you seem to want to have a go at others on here - very odd.

Your post read as patronising. Apologies for giving such direct feedback. I know some people find it very difficult to handle feedback in such a direct fashion.

I would however welcome your comments on the points you ignored in my original post, and the points in my subsequent post, which if you had read them both would have left you in no doubt that I am pleased for all those that got rooms.

I didn't and I really don't care. What I do care about is people here sticking up for lhw for making a massive massive mess of this. Not once, but twice.

And then the "giveaway" was not cheap rooms in prime destinations at times when they could be used - they were (with the odd exception) midweek obscure destinations.

It was a con. Stick up for lhw all you like, ignore, or don't ignore me all you like. But please don;t expect me not to articulate a viewpoint or give direct feedback on the way I have been addressed.

If I read your post wrong, then I apologise.

    Cheers.
