The emailing from LHW does seem to have been a bit sporadic. I was pre-registered with the site, but did not receive any update emails from LHW, where my wife did. Though I did keep an eye on the LHW site.

Since I used my work email address, maybe the emails got eaten up by spam programs or something.

So based upon the promise that they'll deal with our forms in chronological order what numbers do people reckon they have got up to so far? Any late 600s out there (I'm low 700s and finding it hard to be patient!).

Sorry to rain on your parade but I'd say fairly low. The highest numbers I've heard about so far are about 1224770600. I'm 052* and still haven't heard so I'm assuming my hotel choices weren't available

I dont actually think they are doing it by number sequence but rather by the hotels instead coz i submitted my form and my boyfriends nearly an hour later but we got confirmation at the same time! His number is 1224773397 which is the highest I have seen or heard of so far!

Which hotel did you request? What was your reference number? You've got two reservations? Nice.

They're doing it by hotel, then by the sequence numbers so that the rooms for each request are allocated first come-first served on a per-hotel basis (My ref was 0510 and I think there's a snowball's chance of me getting a Gleneagles room, where people with much higher sequence numbers are getting hotels in other countries).

I went for 3 hotels in Portugal and got Villa Vita Parc Resort which is my 3rd choice. My number ended 671 and I tried to submit a form for my sister as well with different address which got rejected because we share the same surname I thk, so an hour later in desperation coz I thgt they had probably discarded my 1st entry as well, I then submitted a form for my boyfriend (who lives at a different address) with the same hotel list I wanted and we both got confirmations at same time but for one night only and two days apart which is so depressing but their rooms are only 160euro so might actually pay for the 2nd night oursleves. so its definately being done by hotel because if you are following threads on other sites like flyertalk when someone gets a confirmation in a location a few more pple will get them too even with later numbers so just be patient and good luck!

Hmm, interesting theory! Thanks!! I'll hold out hope for my 3rd choice Sweden then, cos noone else has mentioned getting that yet!
