  • Same here robellett, but I think I'll get these if my local Poundland have them.
  • I bought some of these, but my toaster is the kind that can only fit 1 slice. Can somewhere recommend me a cheap toaster that can is suitable to use with these bags? Or am I better of just buying a cheap toastie maker?
  • i really like putting tortilla wraps in my toaste bags.turn our really nice...dont need wide slots in toaster for these either.choose any filling you like, cheese and onion or chicen is my favorite, then simply fold in edges, form a hexagon like shape.then pop in toaster.voila! (similar to kfc!!!)
ps has any body cooked bacon, chips or fishfingers??? as it says on the packet you can.

  • I bought mine years ago in lakeland plastic in bluewater when they first came out. I wasn't that impressed as my fave toasted sandwich is corned beef and onion and to get it mushy i usually ended up burning the bread and my onions didnt cook.
My last proper sandwich toaster sucked too but my luck turned this weekend when i went to sainsburys and saw my new Mooster.. (cow print toaster) by breville half price 14.99.
Whats all the hassle about cleaning them too?? erm the plates pop off.. just don't over fill your sandwich!
I know cow print isnt everyones cuppa tea but it matches my fridge so im a happy bunny. Now i just need some corned beef.. yum!

You got a good one if the plates pop off, they don't on most sandwich grills. They don't on my pink George Foreman. I did a search at Tesco for the sandwich bags, and what also came up was a product called Cookaliner by the same company. You can use these to line grills, so I'm ordering some of those.

I couldn't find these in Poundland yesterday but I did in the 99p shop (Swindon) and I grabbed a couple of packets - tried them out last night and they're fantastic!! Brilliant and simple for the kids to use too. Will be grabbing some more for my mum next time I'm in town.
