Neither pound shop in stockport had any of these. Morrisons have them at £2.99, have invested in some and am waiting to try them out0

My local Poundland in Norwich had them today, but I have to agreed that I bought the rolls royce version from Lakeland £5.99 for 2 and can be used up to 500 times each.Heard the Shaggy Taxi Wind Up Phone Call?

Surely a bag containing 2 slices of bread and filling won't fit in the slot of a conventional toaster.
Will I need to buy a new toaster as well as the bags?0 -
I bought a couple of the JML toaster bags at Asda (£3.98) and I have been able to use them with my normal toaster - although it involves squashing the sandwich flat, cutting in half and putting each half in a bag in the toaster.
I do have a proper sandwich toaster but it is a pain to keep clean. Do you think I could use these bags in the sandwich toaster?0 -

I thought that mine wouldn't fit - I have a Dualit toaster and it is much smaller slots that my previous toaster. I just make my sandwich, pop it into the bag and give it a gentle press down before putting into the toaster. It is sometimes a bit of a squeeze but I find it keeps the filling together better.0 -
I will buck the trend here and say they dont make them as crispy as i like .0

Tried mine for the first time today. Toasted once, turned sandwich round and popped in again just to make sure. Result, one quite nice toasted sandwich and an expensive plastic bag with four holes burned in it. Well, ok, maybe I'm just stupid, but it may benefit others to know that these things are a bit delicate. I didn't have to force it in or anything like that, and I turned the toaster down from its normal setting, so what went wrong I don't know. I suppose the bag contacted the elements, but why? It's a newish toaster, no other probs.0

How do you clean the bags?
I either give my toastie maker a wipe whilst warm or put in the dishwasher. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

I am no expert in property but have lived in many types of homes, in many locations and can only talk from experience.0 -
I really wasn't impressed with these when I got them a couple of years ago - much prefer toasties made on the george forman, which I just wipe down when it's cooled. It's not exactly hard labour.0
