  • Cheapest toasted sandwich maker at argos is £19.99, then you have the hassle of another applicance taking up space in your cupboard and having to remove the big plates to wash them.

WHAT are you talking about? £19.99?!? Maybe in Monopoly money! The cheapest sandwich toaster from Argos is £4.89, so, save your money on your sandwich bags and make them the proper way :-)

  • Sounds good but I like my toasties all sealed like they are when they come out of the toastie machine.

I first bought my toastie bags from lakeland,£7.99 for 2 about 8 years ago , i have since bought more for family as mine are still going strong ,where as the cheaper version do not last long,as my family have found out, lakeland have a policy that they replace anything for free if the customer is disatisfied with the quality, the only quible i have is they ought to be another inch wider for thick sliced bread, it can be a bit of struggle sometimes to keep it all together, i got round this by removing part of the crust ,

I'm sure it's just a typo, but it made me have a good laugh, thank you ;)

Funny I was looking at those bags just last week... mmh I'm having second thought on them now ...

With all the current news on chemicals in plastics causing health problems, I assume these plastic bags don't release anything nasty into your sandwiches when they get scorching hot against the food, do they?

I use my George Foreman grill for toasties, it does drain a little fat off too, though gonna take a look at these bags.

They are excellent - i have ordered some more as mine are very tired looking now - they are £3.50 or £3.99 from the betterware book.
