Best £3.99 i have ever spent

Anyone ever seen those toaster bags? I always thought what a stupid idea, after all its just toast why do you need to put it in a bag and then into the toaster, waste of time.

But after a friend came to work and made up her sandwich with tuna in and then put it in the toaster, i saw the point of them.

So i bought a pack, £3.99 for 2 bags and each lasts about 100 times and they're dishwasher safe.

Just made a toasted sandwich with cheese and tomato in and how simple it was, made it up as a normal sandwich, into the toaster bag, into the toaster and within mins it was done. Bag will go into the dishwasher, ready for another use.

Cheapest toasted sandwich maker at argos is £19.99, then you have the hassle of another applicance taking up space in your cupboard and having to remove the big plates to wash them.

I also worked out:

5 packs of toaster bags = £19.95 (10 bags in total)
Each bag can be used 100 times, so thats 200 per pack
Grand total of 1000 toasted sandwich you'd have to make in order to equal the cost of buying a toasted sandwich maker from argos at £19.99

Not sure if it helps but my local Poundland has toaster bags in it, have not looke at them though so no idea how many or if they are the same thing.

Yep we bought some a while ago mainly for my son who loves toasties and they are so simple to use and a quick way of making toasties.

Yes, we like them too, I thought the same as you that they look too simple to be true but am very pleased with them. They have been fine in my dishwasher too

I agree they are brilliant, so quick and much easier than having to clean the toastie machine!

No the cheese doesnt run to the bottom at all,you get a perfect toastie every time.

tip for you for even more speed and ease speed pop to aldi and buy elemental cheese slices (cheapest place i have seen them) they fit nicely in a sandwich with a little tuna or red onion. Hot cheese and chicken and a little pesto..... Anyone getting hungry yet?
