Hmm, I'm obviously doing something wrong as I am destroying mine after two goes. I opened a new packet yesterday and made my OH a ham and cheese (no butter) toastie and the bag is singed completely and has more holes in it than a colandar.

Trouble is I am addicted..so have just been out and bought my 4th packet (expensive ones this time though, £3.99 from Woolies as I was desperate for my toastie fix).

I can't wait for mine to arrive.
In the meantime, has anyone any favourite fillings?
I think my first one will be a bit of cheese, tomato and slivers of onion, with a sprinkling of Italian seasoning.

Hey can you use jam, I've got my HM blackberry?

  • Mine are fab, though like i said in my original post i got the JML ones at £3.99 for 2. Been used 4 times now and everytime just gone in the dishwasher.

    I've done: Cheese/tomato, cheeese x2, chicken/cheese(that was delicious).

Bit of a cheese theme i know, but melted cheese tastes so good.

Not that i've tried it yet in my toaster bags but as a kid i used to love jam/cheese under the grill. I used to love the taste of warm jam, think thats cos my mum used to make home made jam.

  • I've just bought replacements of these - we lost our old ones when we moved house.

Cheese and ham toasties for lunch today and zero clearing up compared with getting the sandwich toaster out ! I do miss the chewy edges though.
  • omg! i wanna toastie NOW!! have to find the darn sandwich toaster until i can go get some bags!
