So where is your photo then 3tabbycats??? Enquiring minds want to have a nosey!

That'll teach me! I don't know how to post a proper picture but have managed to put her as my avatar...I'm not very good with technology!

Milford - Your new kittie is gorgeous!

OMG Milford_Cubicle she is gorgeous!!! She is going to be a proper stunner when she grows up. I'm sure she will settle in just fine.

Sorry for the update tardiness, I have been busy preparing to go back to uni this week. Kitty (who incidently is a girl!) is doing great. She will now happily let you make a fuss of her and roll around on your lap showing you where you wants you to tickle her.

I have just taken a couple of photos and will resize them and figure out how to post them in the next few minutes!

    Aha, it has worked!

3tabbycats I have just found out how to view avatars, your kitty is lovely. I do like tabby cats!
  • btw, you missed a bit of the floor under the table when you mopped :D
    When I...."mopped"? What's that then? :p

She's way braver now, I sat on the floor earlier this evening and much as she doesn't like being picked up, she did come and playfight with my fingers on my lap. She then found a great game where she'd run out from under the table, attack my hand and then run back under the table. She fell over several times, the hard floor will take a bit of getting used to for her!

I've just shut her in the room for the night, she was obviously having fun because I had a few minutes of 'please come back' miaowing but she's settled down now. Heh, I've missed having a cat :D

Hi -I am a newbie who also has the dubious distinction of owning a 9 week old turbokitty. Ex rang me last Thursday concerning temporary home for kitten. Her neighbours had bought but the existing fleabag took every opportunity to savage it. She rang me so I said yes, so she said oh good I'm in your carpark with it!

Very happy kitty now -very, very energetic good loud purr and sleeps in the bathroom! First two nights were spent under my chin. Now wants to be everyones friend.

Good with litter tray but still working out her diet -messy trail down the stairs last night to distressed kitty who didn't make to tray. I think cat milk and possibly even kittenmilk doesn't agree with her.

Like Milford, I've missed having a cat
may you live in interesting times

  • Day 2 of L'mao:

Door between dining room and living room opened, L'mao investigates. Spends 30 minutes running around in a crazy fashion, 10 minutes miaowing for no apparent reason, then is happy to be picked up and settles on lap. Electric recliner now decomissioned as she's discovered the gubbins makes a great hiding place. Comes out covered in dust. Very affectionate when encouraged and has a very loud purr :D

Don't worry, I won't bore you with the details every day :rotfl:

Hayden I'd move kittys litter tray upstairs at night or even better have a second one up there until it's a little older :)
as for kitten milk - I'd only give it in small amounts as a treat and not too often. Instead give some good kitten food like James Welbeloved which will give her everything she needs. You can give half a pouch of wet kitten food once or twice a day too if you want, bet she'll love it!
