  • Hi Folks,

Hope everybody is ok and doing well.

Contrary to popular belief I am still alive and saving. I have been really busy and praying that my central heating system is not going to die on me. I have a back 12th century boiler and when I came to put it on as winter was setting in it only heated the upstairs radiators. The downstairs ones don't do anything

I have bleed them and made sure all the correct values are open. I think my pump is dead or I have lots of sedimentation and might have to have them drained and cleaned. I have a nice chap from british gas coming out at the begining of december so fingers crossed. Anyway I will update my challenges and savings later on tonight. Bye for now

  • Hi Folks

    Hope everything is going well.
    Right here goes:-

    1) My November food challenge is still going well. I spent £10.99 last week and £12.88 this week. This takes my total for the month to £72.29. This leaves me with £17.71 out of my £90 budget for the month.

    2) I had a NSD last sunday taking my total for the month to 3 out of 10.

3)My matched betting is still going well. My total profit now is £608.82

    4) I have not managed to get anymore £2 coins. However, I have managed to get 6x20p, taking my total to £8. I have also managed to get another £0.63 in 1p,2p and 5p, taking my total to £11.92.

The food plans this month is still going strong and I am really enjoying cooking again. I tried a new soup recipe this month. It was parsnip and bramley apple.

Anyway I better go take care

  • Hi Folks,

Sorry for lack of updates, but quite a bit of termoil at work at the moment.

Anyway, tuesday and wednesday I managed NSD, so that takes my total to 5 for the month.

The November grocery challenge is still going well. This week I only spent £7.92, so still under target for the month.

I am still going well on the matched betting, my total is now £661.30.

I have managed to save another £1.20 in 20p
I have managed to save another £4 in £2
I have managed to save another 0.28p in 1p,2p and 5p.

I have also claimed £90.04 cashback from my matched betting and other things

Anyway that it is for now got to run

    Take care

  • Hi Everybody,

Hope people are doing ok, especially with christmas fast arriving.

I have been busy so have not had time to post. Anyway here goes.

    November Grocery Challenge
I have now completed my Nov Grocery Challenge. I spent £80.21 on food, leaving £9.79 left out of my £90 budget
In total I spent £102.50 (including cleaning stuff and toiletries, which has a separate budget of £25). Therefore based on my old budget of £135 for everything, I have saved £32.50 this month, which I have put on to my shopping savings on my signature.

I have completed a monthly food plan again for december, and I am setting myself a target of £90 on food for the month and the usual £25 on cleaning and toiletries. I have spent £39.22 on food this week, so hopefully I can keep things going.

    NSD

I have managed NSD on friday, Monday, Wednesday and today. Taking my total to 9/10 for the month. Only need one more :j

    Spare Change

I have saved a further £6 in £2 coins, bringing my total to £24
I have saved a further £1.20 in 20p coins, bringing my total to £10.40
I have saved a further 23p in 1p,2p and 5p bringing my total to £12.43

    Matched Betting

I have made a profit of £750 now on my matched betting.

    Cashback

I have a total of £164.90 pending on cashback (not including daily clicks, which is sep) and I have cashed in £90 cashback (not including daily clicks)

Right I think that is about it for now. I have not managed to put much extra off my visa bills this month, as I need most of the spare money for christmas presents. However, this time last year I was putting presents and extra stuff on my visa and getting into more debt, so hopefully this christmas I will not get further into debt. Then after christmas I can use my spare money to pay off debts quicker.

    Bye for now
