You are right, the NSD days are harder than I first thought.

I am normally not that organised but I know that if I am going to succeed in getting rid of my debts I have to be. It is really hard though.

  • Evening all,

    I hope everybody is well.

It has been a busy day today. I was up at 6am this morning as the house was a s**t pit and needed some severe tidying. This was due to the fact that I was decorating all day yesterday and did not do any cleaning.

So I was up at 6am to clean the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms, hoover the whole house, dust the whole house and clean the kitchen.

I have got some more decorating to do tonight.

I did not manage a NSD today, even though I have already acheived 5/5 for the month, as I had to buy diesel on the way to work.

On the positive side though I did manage to get another 2x20p for my 20p savers challenge bringing my total to £2. I have updated my signature.

    Well better get to it.

    Take care

  • Afternoon Everybody,

I have not posted for a few days, but rest assured I have not given up :j

I have been busy the last few days decorating and coping with a cold.

Anyway still trying hard to save the penny's

I did another matched bet yesterday for £25. However I will not get my free bet just yet as you have to do 5 qualifying bets for this one.

I have found another 20p taking my total to £2.20
I have also added to my 1p,2p and 5p bottle taking the total to £10.69

I paid off another £25 extra on my barclaycard this morning. I saved £10 on diesel this week, I saved £10 on badminton as I did not go as I had a cold and I recieved £5 cashback. So that came to £25, which went straight off the visa. Did not manage to bring my EDFD forward, but every little helps.

The monthly food plan I did is going well, and the freezer meals are great, I even treated my girlfriend to one the another night when she came around to tea :rotfl:

I keep on saying it but I am hoping to get some daily clicks done this evening. It is just trying to fit everything in. But if I can do it 4/5 times a week it will bring in some more steady money to pay debts. Just need to get into the habit of spending 30-40 minutes a day clicking.

I will hopefully do another match bet tonight so I can get these five qualifying bets out of the way. However, I might be taking tiles down in the kitchen :rotfl:
    No rest for the wicked

Anyway I have updated my signature.

    Hello again,

Just wanted to recommend EagerLearners budget and spending spreadsheet. I have just stumbled upon it when I was over on the daily clicks forum. It is really good. Up until now I have just been keeping a diary, which has sections for spending, debts, etc. This spreadsheet is cool and I am going to start using it to keep track of things. It even has 3D graphs so you can keep track of your spending, debts etc at a quick glance.

  • Hi - I didn't want to read and run so just wanted to say how impressed I am with what you've done so far. You have inspired me to dig out my soup recipes (that spelling doesn't look right!) and start chopping....

Thanks Dollydumpling and Flower08, your comments and others keep me going and keep me motivated. To be fair this website and forum has been my inspiration. It is amazing what people have done on this website. :T

My problem was that in the past I was not very organised, especially with money. My girlfriend is amazingly orgainsed, but I think that is girls in general. They are more organised than boys.

So after getting into this mess, I knew that the only way to get out of it was to get more organised and to change my attiude.

So fingers crossed. It will be a long journey but with everybodies help and encouragement I know that I can do it.

Just another quick post. I will submit a bigger post later on tonight as I will be going shopping and will be doing a few other things, so I will have to update my October Grocery Challenge.

I have just found another 20p. So my total for the 20p challenge is £2.40

I have also just found another 5p for my 1p,2p and 5p bottle. Total=£10.74

    I have updated my siganture

    Morning all,

    I hope everybody is well.

Well I went for my weekly shop last night and it only cost £12.38, so my total spends for the month are £37.95. So I have £22.05 left for the rest of the month, I think I can do it.

Also found another 5p and 2x2p for my bottle, so total is now £10.83.

I also did a couple more matched bets last night. I have to do one more today and I get my next free £25 bet.

This morning and last night I have finally been slowly clicking my way through the daily clicks guide from EagerLearner. I should be finished a bit later on and I will update my signature.

Keeping going folks and speak to you later

Looks like it going well MF

By the way, girls are NOT more organised than boys... or at least from experience I don't think so anyways.

    Hope you're enjoying your weekend
