Evening all,
Well the second day of my diary is nearly over. Things going well so far. Today I managed to achieve my first NSD of sept. I have set a target of 5. So one down and four more to go.
Managed to join a few challenges, make a weekly food plan thus saving money on shopping yesterday. So hopefully I can keep it up, I am determine to.
Today I managed to get the back lawn mowed, it was shockingly long.
I have also made a brown loaf of bread, I love home made bread.
I also tried a new smoothie today, which was nice.
Strawberries
Half a banana
A peach yoghurt
Milk
Tonight I have to do the job I hate most, and it is not cleaning the toilet!!!:rotfl:
It is Ironing  .
I am hoping to recieve some of my matched betting money tommorow. Which I am going to use to pay towards my visa bill straight away.
And hopefully tommorow I can start some daily clicks
Happy money saving folks

Hello Folks,
I trust everybody is well?
Well I have started this morning by paying an extra £63.71 off my BarclayCard. I used £50 of my matched betting winnings and £13.71 that I saved from my shopping budget this week. I have updated my signature.
However, my estimated debt free date has moved back slightly to may 2016 as my interest on the Barclaycard has gone up to 19.9%.
Really need to get this overpaid sooner rather than later.
Anyway feeling good that I am chipping away at things.

Morning Everybody,
Well I did not managed to achieve a NSD yesterday, I knew I would not as I had to buy my girlfriend a dozen roses, as it was our 1st anniversary. I am a bit of a romantic really. So every month of our first year of going out I buy her 1 extra rose until 12 months and 12 roses. Sad I know.
Anyway I have recieved my daily clicks guide from EagerLearner this morning(thanks EagerLearner) so I am looking forward to getting my teeth into that later on this week.
Only three days to pay day. Then I am going to try and plan a months worth of meals and really cut down on the food bill by bulk cooking and freezing meals. I was reading a thread on here yesterday were a family did a challenge to live on £40 a month on food and still eat healthy. It was amazing and had some great tips and some good links. I do not think I am that strick, but I certainly think I can cut down from £110 per month.
Bye for now

Well there goes my NSD for today. Not been feeling very well for a week. Have not managed to shrug it off, so had to go to the doctors this morning and I had to pay for a prescription. Doh!!!! £7.10 shocking.
Anyway I will just have to try and claw some money back this evening with some matched betting and a few daily clicks.

Morning all,
How is everybody today.
Well I am hoping to have a NSD today as I am not doing anything, hopefully. And it will be a quite night in tonight. Also I am stocked up on my prescriptions so fingers crossed. I most probably have enough medicines to stock my own pharmacy :rotfl:
Anyway did some matched betting last night, my qualfying bet. Hopefully do my free £25 bet tonight and increase the matched betting profits.
I am hoping to plan next months meals tonight as well as I get paid tommorow.
Anyway better have some breakfast and go to work.
Bye for now

Hi MF:hello: - You are doing really well. Have you joined the Shopping challenge? That will help you to try and keep within budget. Basically you decide on an amount of what you want to spend for the month and try and stick to that amount - might be worth popping over there and having a wee look.
Good luck on your debt free journey - I will be following your thread and seeing how you reduce your debt as the months go by.When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0 -
Thanks for the help and support TurnAroundSue.
I think I might do the shopping challenge. My original/current budget has been £135 pounds (including £25 per month for tolietries, cleaning stuff, etc). I have had a good look at the grocery saving thread and some of the recipes. Based on them and my savings from this weeks shopping budget I think I will try for £60 per month.
I will start my plan monthly plan tonight and then hopefully when I go shopping on friday I can do alot of batch cooking friday evening and saturday day for freezing for the month.
Wish me good luck

Evening all,
Just finished my tea and I am having a glass of wine.
Today I have joined the grocery challenge for October. I am aiming for £60 for the month, so fingers crossed.
I have also just placed my free matched bet for £25 on one of tonights football matches, so that should give me another £19 to put on my total.
I have also managed another NSD today, yippeeee!!!! :j
So that takes my total to 2. Only three more to go. I hoping for one tomorrow as well. I have updated my signature.
Right the main task for tonight is to plan a months worth of meals. Lets go!!!

Morning all,
Well I managed to complete my monthly meal plan for October last night. It was difficult to try and fit it all in. Anyway here it is:-
Week 1
Monday - Grilled Aubergine and Cous Cous salad
Tuesday - Lasagne and Vegtables
Wednesday - Shepherds Pie and Vegetables
Thursday - Spicy Red Lentil Soup
Friday - Oven Fish and Chips and Peas
Saturday - Beef Stir-fry and Rice
Sunday - Beef Sunday Roast
Week 2
Monday - Sphag Bol
Tuesday - Risotto
Wednesday - Roasted Veg and Pasta
Thursday - Curried Parsnip soup
Friday - Lasagne and Veg
Saturday - Jacket Potato, Tuna and salad
Sunday - Turkey Sunday Roast
Week 3
Monday - Grilled aubergine and Cous Cous salad
Tuesday - Sphag Bol
Wednesday - Risotto
Thursday - Spicy Red Lentil soup
Friday - Beef Stir fry and rice
Saturday - Shepherds Pie and Veg
Sunday - Beef Sunday Roast
Week 4
Monday - Jacket potato, Baked beans and Salad
Tuesday - Beef Stir-fry and rice
Wednesday - Lasagne and Chips
Thursday - Curried Parnsip soup
Friday - Risotto
Saturday - Roasted Veg Pasta
Sunday - Beef Sunday Roast
If I have done my calculations right 28 meals will cost me £20, as I have quite alot of meat and stuff in the freezer and store cupboard. Could be more difficult next month as I will obviously have to buy more meat and stock items, but we will see. I should have some portions left over from this month that can be used the following month.
The made difficulty for me in keeping under the £60 budget for the month will be the weekly stock of items for my pack lunches and breakfast. Breakfast is not too bad as I have lots of cereal. But I do eat a lot of fruit and use sandwich filling which can add up. I will just have to see what I can do. Maybe I could take some of my spare soup portions into work for lunch.
Anyway what do you think? Any suggestions and tips?
On another note I completed my free match bet last night and won £19.35. I have added that to my signature total.
Anyway bye for now and have a good day.

Evening all,
Hope everybody is well and has saved lots of money
I have managed another NSD today so that takes my total to 3. Only two more to go. I will not be able to get a NSD tommorow as I have to take my car for its first service.
I am feeling quite tired now. When I came in from work I washed and hoovered my car, so it does not look too neglected for tomorrow :rotfl:
I am just about to have some tea and a bottle of beer.
I am toying around with changing my food plan that I posted this morning. I think I can saved a bit more on the intial outlay, as I have no meat to buy, therefore giving me extra money for the weekly stuff such as pack lunches and things. I will have a think about it over tea. Totally addicted to all this money saving stuff now. Cannot get it out of my head
Take care
