  • Hi Folks,

    Hope you are all well.

Been quite busy so had not had time to update.

    So here goes.

I have just paid an extra £21 off my barclaycard as I saved £21 on diesel this week. :j That brings my total debt down to £19283.76, every little helps.

Today I have saved 2x£2 bringing my total to £14.00
Today I have saved 3x20p bringing my total to £6.00
Today I have also managed another 15p in 1p,2p and 5p, bringing my total to £11.29.

The last few days I have been continuing my matched betting. My total profit now is £299.31.

I have my final weekly shop for this month tomorrow and I have £11.18 out of my £60 budget left. Then any spare money I have left once I get paid will also go towards, debts and christmas. The meal plan has worked well this first month so I will have to start putting one together next week for next month.

I will update my signature shortly.

    Take care

Just found you again - we chatted at the start of your journey. I've just caught up with your posts. Well done! You really have grabbed moneysaving by the horns.

    Keep up the great work!

By the way - do you live alone? Have you got room for a lodger. Another way to make a bit more money!

Keep it up - you'll get there sooner than you think!

  • Hi Folks,

I went shopping on friday, for my last weekly shop of the month and managed to spend £7.06 for the week, taking my total for the month £55.48. So I actually have £4.52 left. I will not say I passed the monthyl challengs yet as I still might need stuff during the week, but I am hopeful.

I also managed another NSD today taking my total to 4/10 for the month. I will update my signature.

Hi It might only help with small amounts but check out www.petrolprices.com to ensure you go to the cheapest garage when you fill up.

There was me thinking that i was being clever going to Tesco for diesel and getting a whole penny back per pound on the club card.... if i go 4 miles out of my way once a month to fill up (i generally use a tank a month travel - i save 3 p a litre on top of Tesco!

OK not a huge amount a year... But like Tesco are proud of saying "every little helps"

    Thanks Tea Lady xx

  • Hello Everybody,

I hope everybody is doing well

Right I have completed my october grocery challenge and I spent £55.80 from a budget of £60, not including toiletries and cleaning stuff. I actually spent £2.04 for the month on toiletries and cleaning stuff but that was a separate budget of £25. So this month I actually saved £77.16 on food and toileties as my previous budget before the grocery challenge began was £135.:T

I am going to join the november challenge and set a target of £90 for food as I have to stock up on some things and buy meat this month. However, I still have lots of frozen meals in the freezer, so hopefully I can save more.

I have done another food plan. I have tried to use up old freezer stuff as well with a few new meals in there. I went shopping yesterday for all the ingredients, again. It came to £48.42 out of my £90 budget. So I have £41.58 left for the rest of the month, which I am hoping I can easily survive on. For the month of december I will try and change the menu alot and add new recipes so it does not get boring

So Hopefully tomorrow I will be bulk cooking again!!!!:rotfl:

    I have saved another 4x20p total=£6.80
    I have saved another £0.16 in 1p,2p and 5p
My current EDFD has been brought forward another month as I paid another £51 and £25 off my two visa cards yesterday.

The matched betting is still going well and my total profit so far is £446.85.
I also got another £12 cashback from joining another betting site. I will update my total shortly.

Anyway better go I think I have remember everything, if not I will have to pop back later.

    Take care
