Yeah tell me about it. When my parents come up to visit, I feel guilty as they have travelled all that way to visit, so I have to make sure I stock up on nice things to eat and drink for them. Also being off work we had a few days out, trips to cinema!!!!
Back at work now, so just got to dig back in.

Hi folks,
Firstly, I just want to say sorry for no updates for awhile.
I hope everybody is well and happy, especially in light of the recent weather. I don't know whether this weather is having an affect on me, but I have been fairly down lately and stuck in a rut. I just can't seem to keep on motivating myself for debt busting and indeed keeping fit.
I will try and keep the updates more frequent. I think I need a rethink, I think I need to change.
I have been reading a book recently called 'The 7 habits of effective people' and I must say it is very good.
There was a quote in the book from Marilyn Ferguson.
'No one can persuade another to change. Each of us guards a gate of change that can only be opened from inside. We cannot open the gate of another, either by argument or by emotional appeal'DFW#972 LBM2 (09/07/12) £25938.84; Current £23783.35;Credit Credit Card1 £128.47/£6424.24 (2%);Credit Card2 £443.86/£15663.25 (2.8%); Overdraft £0/£2500 (0%)0 -

It is indeed MrsP. I am still reading the book and I must say it is very good. Sometimes these self-help books can be a bit condescending, but Stephen Covey's book is very good

Yes he is one of the better ones. We use his time management system at work - Franklin Covey and I must admit it suits me and my jobDebt free and Keeping on Track0

Hi Folks,
I have started a new chapter for a fresh start. Let's hope I can keep my self-discipline and get out of this debt once and for all.
