            Hi Everybody,
I am back. Sorry I have not had time to post, been very busy. Went to a wedding at the weekend. It was lovely, it was in chillingham castle. I did not see any ghosts, even though it is suppose to be one of the most haunted houses in britain. I stayed in the castle for two nights.:eek:
The wedding was lovely, and they have now gone to New Zealand for 4 weeks. Well Jealous. :rotfl:
Anyway, after the wedding I then went down to my girlfirends for a few days and had some time off work, had a great time.
Back in work today, but only a half day.
I will do an update on my challenges later on tonight, hopefully.
FireFox and Bowski - Thanks for the compliments, but I am afraid I am nothing special, just an average guy. lol
Bowski - As for Zoosk or are you interested, I have never played them.
 Horace - Not tried Be A Tycoon, might have to give that one a go. lolDFW#972 LBM2 (09/07/12) £25938.84; Current £23783.35;Credit Credit Card1 £128.47/£6424.24 (2%);Credit Card2 £443.86/£15663.25 (2.8%); Overdraft £0/£2500 (0%)0

            Hi Folks,
 Hope everybody is well.
As I have not done an update for about a week I thought I would just do a summary for July and then start my daily updates for august again.
So for July I managed to hit my grocery target. I managed to spend £80.12 out of a budget of £80.83
I managed 12/12 NSD, which I was really pleased about as I was stuck on 10 for awhile and thought I would not make it.
For the PAD challenge, I managed £273.41 for July. Not bad. :j
However, i was seriously behind for the make £10 per day challenge. I only managed to make £70.91. Most of that came from amazon books, as I sold a couple more books. Hopefully the matched betting will pick up in august as the football season starts.
Anyway I think that is about it for now. I have updated my signature with the exception of my total debt figure, I will do that later.
 Bye for now

I know you didn't make your £10 a day challenge but at least you still got £70.91 more than you would have done if you weren't doin it atall !!
It was still, on the whole a successful month

 Hi MF!
Hope you are well! I was looking at your figures and am gobsmacked at how much work you have put into this - you fully deserve to have come in under budget for groceries this month.
 And sounds delicious too!
Hope you have a lovely weekend!Overpay!0

            Morning everybody,
Well I watched that new Economy Gastronomy on BBC i-player last night. It was on BBC 2 on wednesday, but I missed it. I could not believe the amount of take-aways and ready meals that family had. They were spending about £230 on food per week
I dont even spend that much in a month
Anyway they managed to get them to save £90 per week. I think I could have got it down more. They did that saving by just buying basic ingredients and cooking from scratch.
Anyway it did have some good tips, which I might try, just need to watch it again and jot down some notes. It will be like being a student again. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Anyway that was the 1st episode. I just have to watch next weeks one. The two chefs are with a family that spend....wait for it......
£17000 per year on food. How the hell do you spend that much.
 :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
 Answers on a postcard please.
