Money Fritter - you are doing well.

I am a bit wary of cous cous so have never eaten it. I could kill right now for a biscuit but its raining and I dont want to go out and get wet:rolleyes: I am making do with what I have in - when I came out of hospital on Friday I was taken to Aldi where a roasting chicken and a few other bits were brought for me, we hit Sainsbury's on Sunday afternoon and I came home with a bunch of flowers and a few bits but I noticed that I had to pay for them myself:rolleyes: I am still eating my free chicken.

I had better list today as an NSD too:D

    Hi Horace,

I know what you mean about the biscuits.

I made a batch of flapjacks last week, they weren't too bad for me as they only contained butter, oats and sugar. I thought if I took them into work, it would stop me buying choc bars, crisps and bacon and sausage buns from the canteen. To be fair it has worked, so I am going to make another batch.

As for biscuits and crisps in the house, I tend not to buy them, unless I have people coming around, as I dont stop at eating one.

    Morning everybody,

Well I am up and eating my cereal like a zombie as I type. :rotfl:

    Busy day today.

In work 6-2pm, and then I want to try and get some more stuff done at home.

Managed another NSD yesterday, so that was good.

I was working my money out last night for next month, as I get paid on friday, and it is going to be very tight.

As well as visa bills going up, because I did the balance transfers, I also have a wedding to go to, which will be expensive.

I will just about be ok, but I am going to try and make at least £100 pounds extra this month. I have not made much this month as the matched betting has been a bit slow. However, later on in August the football season starts, so making £100 should not be to unrealistic, hopefully.

Also if I can sell a few more books, I will be ok, fingers crossed.

I will post a task list for later on today when I get back from work

    Take care

    Hi Everybody,

Well I am happy today, I have lost 4lbs this week. I am well pleased. Hopefully that will spur me on to keep going.

    Hi Fritter

I have crisps in the pantry but I am not eating them - I have this urge for biscuits:rolleyes:

Re the wedding - is it the present that will be expensive? Here's a tip - go into your local charity shop and look at the glassware, if you like it then buy it as you can pick up some nice pieces of antique pressed glass for £5 at the absolute most and this will be a cheap but practical gift.

    Hi Horace,

I know what you mean about the biscuits, I try not to buy them. I have no will power.

As for the wedding present, that is a great tip. Thanks very much. I might have a look this weekend.
