Well I have managed to get my packing complete and I am just finishing off my nice mushroom and courgette rissotto. It smells lovely and I am just about to eat it. So bye for now

    Morning everybody,

Managed to get everything packed into the car this morning, golf clubs and all. I am in work now and then after work I will be driving home to my parents.

Well I have already failed with the NSD today and I have used some more of my £10 from my £20 challenge. I spent 85p on a sausage bun and a cup of coffee. See I have no willpower.

    :eek::eek::eek:

Speaking of shocking things, did anybody watch economy gastronomy last night. The family on the show spent £17000 a year on food. The mum in the family went shopping about 5 times a week and that did not include 5 shops a week to the local shop for top-ups. They spent £50 per week on puddings, £50 a week on pack lunches and on and on and on. It was unreal.

Wish I had that much money, I certainly would not spend it on food, I would use it to clear my debts. :rotfl:

    Hi everybody,

Well I am not doing well in the £20 challenge. I have only got £2.80 of my first £10 left. Lets hope the second £10 lasts a bit longer.

I have just finished my tea in work, as I am about to set off down to my parents. I though I would have my tea before I left, so I dont spend loads of money in the expensive services.

Here is my update for the day

    Thursday 13th August 2009

Thanks for explaining the £20 challenge MF - I think I'll be trying something similar as from next pay day.

    Hi Everybody,

    Hope everybody is well.

I still have £2.01 left out of my first £10 of my £20 challenge. I have not spent anything yet today. I went out with my mum for lunch and a walk around the shops at cheshire oaks, it was good and my mum paid for lunch. Bargain :j

However, I think I am going to treat my girlfriend to some flowers later on today, so I will be buying them out of my £20 challenge money.

    Anyway better go

    Take care

    Hi, I'm not bad thanks
I've not been upto much other than work and chavin' it up in St Helens Live last week watching N-Dubz :D They were brilliant though I've got to say.

I'm having a bit of a naff time with money at the moment, I'm £55 down a week so I'm stuggling to find my feet but I will do soon, it'll just take some getting used to working with what I have. I will get there. I need to start ebaying and doing scrathcards though.

It's almost MB time, are you ready for it??
My sister is going to try and get some money for us from it, it sounds very confusing to me, I wouldn't even know where to start!

I hope the weather is better for you there than it is here, I can't remember the last time it felt like a summers day!
