    Hi Folks :hello:

    Hope everybody is well.

I was going to post last night but I was too tired. So here we go.

    1) Living on 4k a year challenge 6.gif

Lunch:- Brocolli + Bacon Pasta with Soft garlic and herb cheese.
Dinner:- Oven fish and mash and peas

    Sunday

Lunch:-Bacon+Salad Cous Cous with lemon juice
Dinner:- Pork steak, potatoes and veg

    Monday

    Breakfast:- Porridge
Lunch:- Jacket Potato+baked beans and an apple
    Dinner:- Spanish Tortilla + salad

    Tuesday

    Breakfast:- Porridge
Lunch:- Tuna sweetcorn Pasta and an apple and bannana
Dinner:- Carrot and red lentil soup and two slices of bread

    Wednesday

    Breakfast:-Porridge
Lunch:- Tuna sweetcorn Pasta and an apple and bannana
Dinner:- chicken and bacon casserole with rice

    Thursday

    Breakfast:- Porridge
Lunch:- Carrot and red lentil soup and two slices of bread and an apple
Dinner:- Bacon and leek potato omellete and salad

    Friday

    Breakfast:-Porridge
Lunch:- Bacon salad cous cous with lemon juice and an apple+bannana

I am going to my parents for the weekend so that is the end of the plan.

I went shopping yesterday and spent £13.95 on food and £1.60 on toiletries. The food shopping also included some ingredients for making a batch of red lentil soup for the following week. So overall not a bad start.

I also have snacks for weekdays to try and stop me eating biscuits in work. These are carrot sticks, a handful of brazil nuts and rice cakes.

I made a lovely recipe yesterday using a recipe off here. It was brocolli pasta with bacon and soft garlic and herb cheese, it was lovely. The cost was 80p per portion. The recipes on here are so good.

Anyway that is my plan, I will update and modifiy my signature

    Bye for now

    Hi Folks,

With respect to the living on 4k challenge I have set a target of living on £2 per day for food.

    Well here are yesterdays figures.

    Breakfast - Boiled egg and 2 toast = 26p
Lunch - Brocolli and Bacon pasta with soft herb and garlic cheese = 80p
Tea - Oven fish and mash with peas = 93p

So total for the day is £1.99

So I have hit my target for the first day. :T:T:T

I have updated my list further up the page.

Still got a few things to do though, including ironing. Which I am really trying to put off. :rotfl:
