    Hi everybody :hello:

Hope everybody is well and doing great.

Well here is my update for the day, not as good as previous days.

    1) Living on 4k a year challenge 6.gif

I spent £5.11 towards food for next week and the rest of the month today, but they were good bargins (see June grocery section)

Anyway my £2 per day on food is still holding up

Breakfast: Porridge and milk = 30p
    Snack 1:- 2 x rice cakes and cheese spread = 11.5p
    Lunch:- Tuna+sweetcorn pasta+tomato+cucumber+Mayo and banana = £1.03
Tea:- None as I managed a free buffet in work as vistors were in and had to stay late. :rotfl:

Total for the day £1.63. :j

    2)June Grocery Challenge 1.gif

Spent £5.11 on some bargains in asda
Bought a tiger chest loaf, reduced to 16p. Got 16 slices out of it and placed them in the freezer. 1p per slice
Bought some tiger buns reduced to 11p. Froze them aswell, so that is 2.5p per bun.
Though they would go well with my soup lunches or meals rather than bread. Also bread is more expensive per slice. :rotfl:
Also bought some frozen brocolli and 3 for £4 on various cheeses. Thought next week and indeed other times in the month I would do cauliflower and brocolli cheese. A fairly cheap meal.

    3) Lose change 5.gif

Found a solitary 10p in my jacket pocket. So my total for 1p,2p,5p and 10p is £29.77

    4) NSD Challenge 5.gif

Had another NSD today taking my total to 5 for may.

    5) PAD challenge 5.gif

PAD £66.82 towards my visa card.

    6) Make £5 per day Challenge 5.gif

    Surveys - Nothing today

Amazon Books - Late night at work and badminton so did not get chance to put any on. 3.gif

Matched betting - Nothing tonight 6.gif

    Scratchcards - Won 10p

Also had a bargain night at badminton. It was only £1 as it was a special discount promotion night. This is already in the budget so does not affect my NSD.

Hoping to do a bit more matched betting tommorow night as the champions league final is on.

    Well Take care for now

    Night all

    Good morning all,

Well not looking forward to today. Got the weigh in. I know I will have put weight on. I have been ill most of the last week and so have comfort ate. I have not done any keep fit apart from badminton last night, so I think I will be paying £2 not £1.

    Take care

    Hello All,

Well I don't know how I did it but I lost 1lb. Must have been going to the toilet before the weigh in that did it. :rotfl:

Nah must be all the food I have fed the cold and not me. :rotfl:

    Hi Moneyfritter

Everything's looking good and well done on losing 1lb !! That's great! I didn't even go and get weighed as I've been busy all week. I'll have to go next week instead. I've eaten so much rubbish so I think I'll have put loads of lb's on!

Hope you had a good time at your parents. I totally agree about the munchies. I love driving anyways but going on a journey is even better coz then there's the excuse of munchies. Usually a big bag of minstrels or starburst for me :) Was it a long journey?

    Hi Bowski,

    Thanks for the support.

In answer to your question, I live in Durham and my parents live in Runcorn. The journey takes about 2 and a half hours. So munchies are a requirement. :rotfl:

I like starbursts and minstrels, but it has got to be a bag of wine gums for me. I love them. :j

    Take care
